Rubel is good vs India. Rony will get tonked with his lack of pace

Not having any established openers worry me. Its a shame after all these years, we still have only 1 good opener. Why didn't the management get another batsman after TI's departure? What happens now if Liton gets in the second match. It will be too late to get someone else in time for the third match.

Why do I always feel frustrated after a big loss!!!

Don't be harsh on yourself

You also feel frustrated after small losses and marginal wins

We were never going to win this Asia Cup. We wouldn't have won even with TI, Mushy, and Shakib at 100%. Pakistan is playing at home, AFG is playing at home, and India is the host and way too good as an ODI unit (and they tend to save their choking for ICC finals, not ACC ones).

With that out of the way, what's with asking everyone to be dropped? I want to see the exact same XI, but with Mushy in for Moss and Fizz in for Rubel. Play all 3 games with this unit, and then we get a better picture of what our World Cup XI might look like.

Winning the toss has become such a crucial part of this tournament.

Win toss, bat first, get the opposition 11 sweaty in 40 degrees heat. When the opposition come to bat, the track is turning, the players are exhausted, score board pressure - all culminate to an inevitable loss.

Been their home a lot longer than India. Their T20 will also be played there.

If its any consolation, the temp in Dubai now is only 38C.

I saw only 38C because the temp right now at Abu Dhabi stadium is 43C and it was 42/43C during the toss yesterday as well

Once you face 43C, you can feel the difference with 38C (!)

I wanted Rony in the team instead of Rubel. I just don't rely Rubel.

'Bangladesh should not target 280, then they might get all out at 200 in a rush..they rather should target around 240 from the start'

- Habibul Basher in match centre(gtv).

Defensive and scared approach already started..lol. Thanks god, he's not the captain anymore.

Just see the new ball off, the middle over bowlers are ordinary, and our late hitters are too much for their death bowling.

Bhumrah's slightly rectified action is much better and I think these days he has more control.
