I hope Mominul gets replaced by Nasir Hossain or Taijul Islam for this game. Playing an extra spinner against Scotland in a slower wicket might help. And plus if we want to play Shakib and Mushfiq earlier down the order, we need to get rid of a batsman, and given Mominul's current form, he might just be the perfect person to bench.

If we can post 300+ total, there is no way Scots can win. We should win this game easily if our players play sensible.

if this match is hit by rain, our chance to qualify will also fly out the window.

40% chance of rain starting 3PM for couple hours.

worst case, we'll have a shorter version of the match, but shouldn't have to worry about point sharing.

InshAllah! weather stays way and deosnt cause any issue with the game!

WE need to beat them WELL. yes, I might sound arrogant to some soft hearted people, but, if u dont feel confident, of beating part cricketers from associates rank, then there is no point of having 15years of test, world class facilities than them. WE need to be RUTHLESS. NO matter what.

Apparently the weather there has been unusually dry leading to a bouncy pitch. Little rain might soften it up for our spinners. But we are full members, we shouldn't need the weather's help to win this, right??

Suppose if the game against scotland and england is washed up with a tie. and let england win against afg and we can afford to lose against NZ. then also we will qualify...

Although there was a thick cover of
brown grass on the pitch, it is not
something the batsmen should be
worried about. It will be rolled flat
on the morning of the game and the
ball should skid on to the bat nicely.
It has been an unusually dry
February in Nelson, which has made
the pitch hard and bouncier.
Spinners are not likely to get any help
from the pitch. The forecast is for a
dry day although with increasing
cloud.
