Default I say...

Cross 18 and make it a T20 match. Score a quick 170+ with 5 wickets in hand and keep the Pacman interested hoping against hope they will collapse chasing such a low total. This the best winning strategy I can think of. Since Sid infested low-esteemed play for draw is bound to get them all out as they gnash and grind, they will MOST PROBABLY LOSE. So make it either pass or fail. Win or lose. No draw. I say go for the win.

Considering we won't have cricket for a while, these idiots should give us some entertainment to finish the series on a high. Tamim was in the zone yesterday but that stupid umpire...ok never mind that . that's different topic altogther.

The problem is that we have 5 players left to play t20 with and only 2 of them can bay. If we try to play t20, our team will be all out even before they score 18 and give some lead.

I think all in all we have lost this match...but hey, atleast we won't lose this one by an innings too...hopefully

We still have some pinch hitters in the tail. And what are you so afraid of losing it by an innings? Loss is a loss. Sometimes you have to take chances...

Nah, we suck at T20. Pak will find it easy to chase 100 even if there are only 10 overs to go. Mushy will overbowl Rajib and Razzak will give 5 leg side deliveries per over with a 9-1 off side field.

Play for a draw. This is Test cricket.

lol, even though this thread & this idea of Gopal da is for the sake of humor but it still does show how obsessed we are about all the hitting 4s & 6s, no wonder why our players are so keen & dependent on boundaries more than a hard fought big inn that we saw from Sakib.

Yes. thats the spirit. But i dont go for T20 mode yet. Lets spend first 1 hour without taking too many risks. A 100 run partnership between Mushy and Nasir can change the whole complex of the game. Then if later batters can chip in and score valuable 50-60 odd runs, who knows ? But, as you mentioned, the only obstacle here is Umpire.

Maybe in T20 or ODI, but not certainly in Test Cricket. One or two bad calls will have less effect in 100+ overs. Also, it might have much more impact on Bangladesh than say Australia, even if the entire Aus team is out Clarke will probably hit double ton to make up for it.

wrong decision specially when it comes to wicket, weaker teams suffer more than any stronger teams do, be it T20, ODI or Test. The impact of the wrong decision may vary, but it certainly effects them (weaker team) dearly.

Yes, but umpires will always make mistakes. Now, why they seem to make a lot more against Bangladesh is a different question. Nonetheless, umpiring fault against weaker teams would NOT change the outcome of the result.
