I got my first ticket for doing 82. Got the letter today, $407!

Pay it? Go to court? Traffic school will cost $70 extra. What should I do? I never done this **** before. What's the process.

i did, they rejected my application citing honesty..... and also said i dress too poorly and dont have the latest iphone or galaxy S IV

they told me to qualify for food stamp i must have to wear jordan sneakers, work cash only jobs, and have multiple gf in diff area codes....

More so than multiple gfs, you must have produced multiple kids for which you pay no child support.

get a lawyer if you have a free lawyer service to prevents points reduction on licence i suppose. That's a shame though, 400 dollars down the drain for nothing...

I got a ticket for doing 85. Got myself a lawyer, he played with that ticket for 18+ months. It got dismissed..No points on my record.

You have to pay regardless unless there is a way I am not aware of. Might as well pay the lawyer to keep your record clean..

How long does the point stay on your licence? Does it effect your insurance premium.

^ $400 for driving 82? What was the speed limit? If he gave you a $400.00 ticket I'm pretty sure he will show up. But doesn't hurt to try. Play the I don't have a job card. Be like I was on my way a interview and I was really stressed out, I'm sorry, I messed up but I can't afford to pay $400. Judge might feel bad and reduce it.

It differs from state to state. In NY it stays for 18 months. I think its 3 years for CA.

It does effect your insurance premium. So I would rather pay the lawyer to have my license clean.
