This is F******* Stupid.....
Not that we won, but that I fell asleep when it started raining. Part of me was telling me not to, but the other half was saying "Do you want to wake up to see an abandoned match ?

Totally agree,,, Dowlin desereved the MoM award. Saqib contribued as usual but Dowlin played a master innings with beautiful shots, pacing his innings rightly, building partnership etc. He was the one who gave WI a hope. Saqib is the captain of a structured team that has gelled together and is performing,,, Dowlin was the lone hope for WI, a team full of un-prepared players and a non-performing captain. He deserved the MoM award in all aspects...

After this...Spitty's match threads' win-loss ratio.
Win vs Loss = 1:manymanymore
In other words, Spitty is still a kufa...

Shujon needs to be cridited; his inclusion I guess has made a lot of difference. He knows our players which helps to pick the playing 11 and how to motivate them to play their role in the team. Congrats Man, and ofcourse the team deserves everything for what they have done so far. Keep focus guys and keep doing it for day in day out. Until that becomes your habit.
Congrats to all.

More misery for WI team
Roach, Reifer found guilty of breaching ICC Code of Conduct
http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/...100224481.html
Quote:
West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach and captain Floyd Reifer have been found guilty of breaching the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct following hearings in Dominica yesterday.
The duo both pleaded guilty to the charges and ICC match referee Roshan Mahanama of the Emirates Elite Panel handed Roach a 10-per-cent fine and Reifer an official reprimand.
The charges related to two high, full-pitched balls delivered by Roach to batsman Shakib Al Hasan during the course of the match in which Bangladesh beat the West Indies by three wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Explaining the guilty verdict and his reasons for imposing the punishments, Mr Mahanama said: “In the case of Kemar Roach I took into account the fact it was his first offence but, at the same time, I felt it was important to emphasise that this type of conduct is completely unacceptable and by fining the player I believe I have done so.
“Part of the role of the captain, as highlighted in both the Laws of Cricket and the ICC Code of Conduct, is to make sure that incidents such as this do not take place but Reifer failed in that role and, again, I made it clear to him that was unacceptable, hence the official reprimand that now appears on his record.”
The West Indies team was also fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the match with Mr Mahanama imposing the fines after Reifer’s side was ruled to be one over short of its target at the end of Bangladesh’s innings when time allowances were taken into consideration.
Reifer was fined 10 per cent of his match fee while his players received five-per-cent fines.

lol ... thats not what he meant bro... there is a proverb called ' It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings ' essentially meaning that one should not assume the outcome of some activity (frequently a sports game) until it has actually finished. So the commentator was merely pointing out that the fat lady is clearing her throat because she is about to sing which signified we were about to win the match...

It also shows the importance of (i) not leaping to conclusions, and (ii) not interpreting every remark as a slight directed towards one or one's team.

Spitty should do a more plain match thread next. Something with the CI link and an ultra abbreviated title.

I wish to use this forum to thank Mahmud bhai. I was in the Windsor Park Stadium for practice and ODI matches. I noticed Mahmud bhai is always busy in training the players. I congratulate BD team for the success in test and ODI series. Dominican will remember these ODIs for long long time as it was first of such event.

that commentrator didn't say anything like that. when Mushfiq(can't remember now) hitted a 4, few Bangladeshi supporters were jumping, cheering and dancing. He just said that bangladesh is getting close to win the series and that fat lady is clearing her throat. he didn't add anything else. and that commentrator said loads of crap about us during both test & ODI series. i couldn't recognise his voice though. they can't take it easily that we are the winners here.
