Should have chucked the ball at Root's head. That was a very late call.

No matter how well the pace unit is, we just don't have a bowler with that x-factor or 'oomph' that can make the ball talk on these flat pitches. Ebadot was the closest thing with the pace he had.

Whoever picked Fizz on this pitch....just lol. We were better off picking Hasan Mahmud probably

At this rate, England will murder our bowlers during the death overs. Mahedi's inclusion was a good move but he has been disappointing so far.

Whatever score Eng makes, if BD don't score 250 on this flat pitch they should just pack their bags.

doubling the score is old concept, in the era of T20 if you have wickets last 20 can yield 200+

I don't think the strategy was bad given the info we had from afghan game. We have to execute them. Also england is a faar superior team, they are defending champ and this sorts of pitch is their expertise. this pitch is faar easier to bat on also than afghan game.

I don't know why you keep harping about batting first as if it would have made any differnce. Now hope for a score less than 330 so we can try to chase it. your comments are illogical

Before we start bashing our cricketers, team and the universe, let's not forget that this England team is extremely strong and they bully most international sides on batting wickets.

We are a good side but we are simply being outclassed here. What I am expecting is a strong batting performance, especially from the openers. If we can get to 300 chasing 370, I will be ok with it. We will not be the only team Eng will massacre in this tournament.

This is new pitch. It's not the same one used against Afghanistan. The point isn't how many runs Eng will score, the point is how BD is afraid to bat first. I mean look at the difference, Eng and most teams have proper openers meanwhile we got bunch of drama and makeshift opener.

If you are afraid to bat first on a flat deck and tiny ground with high elevation where its easy for ball to travel fast, think tank clearly failed miserably this game.

This is true. Especially with the number of wickets they have in hand. Wouldn't be surprised if someone comes in and scores a century at this stage either. I think Markram scored his recent century after coming in past the 30th over

It could be a new pitch but you would assume it will act similarly to the previous one.

who told you we are afraid? the stats was 4 wins chasing, 1 win batting first in this ground. England captain also said he would have bowled first had he won the toss.

Bangladesh would crash and burned if we batted first.

Dude I don't recall the last time BD win toss and decides to bat first and put up good scores. Their formula is one track, win toss, and hope bowlers can restrict opposition to par score.

Ok don't listen to idumb, you can rewind what Butler said at the toss. He said they would have bowled first. The reason is that this is a day game and therefore if there is any assistance due to moisture, it would be early morning.
