The whole approach to Sabbirs situation is a joke. Domestic ban, but can play international cricket? What is that all about?

Ban him in both, or ban international. Let him at least play domestic and get into form. Here he cant play domestic, and he is not doing anything in international either.

That is 2 drops at slip for Sabbir

Now someone told me that Sabbir is selected on virtue of his slip fielding abilities

BCB has ruined this player. Never been FC material; heartless cruel idiot.

BCB has ruined careers of a lot of youngsters.

Kicking Anamul after injury. Keeping on playing Soumya. Making Sabbir bat at 3. Making sabbir and soumya play FC.

And its pathetic that Sabbir was banned from domestics but not international cricket. I would rather he keeps practicing in domestics than internationals.

It sent him wrong signal that he is too important for the team that BCB couldn’t ban him from international. BCB successfully converted a hardworking young player to a lazy @$$.

That justifies Taskins lack of wickets and why he has been dropped.

I might be cynical but Shabbir might be doing this so he is either never picked for the test squad or showing a big fat middle finger at BCB!

Doesnt score runs and drops catches kind of makes you wonder.

So today Nannu said Sabbir is playing because as he cant play domestic we wanted him to play this test because we want him in the T20s.
What a joke, starting from our selectors, team mngmnt, coaching stuff, curator, cricketers evryone is a joke.

I think we should create a collection of what our selectors day as reasons to pick or drop players. Like Bushism or Trump's tweets collection.

That's just unprofessionalism at its best. What a circus we have become recently. Can't even do one thing right.

At this rate, we are going to go back to where we were 10 years ago.

If you wanna go that way, then that's not even 10 years.

Perhaps this: http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/1...aland-2007-08/

I felt that there was a reason like that

Mosa can play domestic but Sabbir can't so let us just pick Sabbir because he got nothing to do.

Unprofessional

I wonder if endorsements was a factor. Sabbir has endorsements. Moss has none most likely. It's possible companies put pressure on selectors to get their guy in the lineup.

Idk how endorsements in BD work, but in the US sports it's usually a multi-year deal. If it's the same, Oscar and the others have every incentive to pressure/bribe the selectors.
