Default New Zealand in Australia 2008

First Test @ Brisbane Cricket Ground.

Tim Southee got the Australian in a spot of bother. Australia 39/3, Southee picked all three wickets.

I've always said that Tim Southee is a better bowler than Ishant Sharma, at the moment australia may be on 47 alot of those runs have been pretty streaky

Too much arrogance of Ponting...and arrogance does not last long .

BD needs to play regularly with Oz now.

Good show by the Youngster.
I am not sure who is better but it sure is a compliment for young Ishanth that he is being used as a benchmark.

Ishant shows the promise (its tough to get a Man Of the Series in India as a fast bowler) but he has a long way to go before he can be considered the best for India leave alone Sub continent or the World.

On present form (in my book) I would see him competing with Gul,Asif,(maybe) Zaheer,Lee,Styen,Bond (I miss that Guy) and Sidebottom.

I will wait on Southee , I havent watched him

Wow, Daniel Vettori is a human being after all. I could have sworn that he was Superman, atleast until 3/4 weeks back. A single wicket and TWO whole runs.

NZ does have a very young and inexperienced side. Not sure if the Aussies can take much credit from this match.

Good contest going on in this match.

But I guess Aus will be the winner in the end.

Australia is in serious slump right now. To think, they had an A team that could have beaten most of the other top ranked side only couple years back.

New Zealand need another 267 run to win but they only have 6 wickets left.

Two bad decisions against NZ, or Aussies just had it.
