ICC U19 CWC 2012: Bangladesh Squad

The Bangladesh Cricket Board announces the following squad for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2012 to be held in Brisbane, Australia. The players will report to Bangladesh Under 19 Head Coach Sarwar Imran at the BCB National Cricket Academy tomorrow (07 July) at 5pm.

The team is scheduled to play three limited overs practice matches at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium, Khulna against a BCB Invitational XI on July 17, 18 and 20. The Bangladesh side departs for Australia on 27 July:

Great squad.3 wk bat in the team and gd to see Anamul is the captain.

But where is the guy who picked up 9 wk vs Qatar? Not even in the reserve, plus missed the game vs Afghanistan in AC, so means injured

Good to have back Taskin and Abu Jayed.

weakest link is Salman Khan, too slow AFAIK

Nurul hassan is the VC, means he will play and more likely to keep ahead of Anamul. Don't knw if it is gd or bad

Good squad. It will be really tough in OZ condition, still anything less than 2nd round berth will be disappointing.

Good news for us Americans, Espn 3 will telecast the games live!

there is like 3/4 games per day...are they gonna show all of them???

if not then we might get to see Ban vs SA...50/50 vs SL. no chance vs Nabibia

Check the espn3 site and than check under upcoming. I can't access espn3 on my phone. Now you can only use their app from your phone but you have to be account with one of their network provider

Strangely we got to face SA once against before the real match. We playing two warm up games, one against Scotland 7 Aug and the other is against SA U19 on the 8th Aug.

Three good batsmen, two wicket taking but wayward fast bowlers and a decent leggie (who got massacred against Afghanistan btw)!! I dont think there is anyway we will beat South Africa or Srilanka (hope i am wrong)...

This squad is as bad as the one where Mithun Ali was the captain...

u got that right...i like how everyones saying its a good squad and all that crap but the truth is that they'r too scared to say the truth....the truth is we'r gonna loose all the matches and come back home loosing!

^we are always very good at u19 but somehow find a way to get out the Wc before the Semi everytime.. Dont mix it up with the National team situation...
