No, not humiliating. Did you see how those in form pak batsman struggled in this pitch and against our bowlers? Our lower score just says Pak bowlers are little better overall and our batsman are not expert to bat on this type of pitch against the top bowling attack.

One Nafees dropped catch away from a really interesting situation. Oh well, there was always only going to be one winner after our abysmal batting display.

Still good to see, we're not quitters - it's not much of a consolation, but if they were quitters on top of being ****, it would be impossible to take.

Pls some1 open the 2nd odi match thread. we got the weakness of them. mathay ato strategy khaya falamu next match e. They were lucky to win if only we could bat more sensibly... just wanna forget this match. if only we can bat sensibly we will surely win. their batters are dal-vat or our bowlers are good enough to rip them off ... well if not actual then atleast in dream.

WTF happened this match? Just got back from work hoping to catch the end of the first innings, and the whole bloody match is over. Freaking hell.

I just can't get to grips with the fact that our current line up have been playing for a decent amount of time now, but batting korte naamle mone hoy 1st ODI match kheltese.

It's high time the high ups of our cricket circuit do something- anything- about solidifying the players' mentality.

Kudos to the bowlers for acting like true tigers.

what was the point of having Farhad Reza batting at Number 8 when he wasn't even used as a bowler??

Rubel chorom batting korse- atleast Mofees er theke lakh gun bhalo IMO.

I feel Shafiul is still unsure about how to hold a cricket bat, let alone bat at the crease.

Batting against the currently #1 bowling team in the world was always going to be tough, particularly when our batting department has so many holes in it.

I say keep the same XI for the next match except drop Reza and Razzak: Bring in Nazmul Hossain and Elias Sunny. The reality is the batsmen will always be batsmen, you can't expect Shakib to bail you out EVERY match, Tamim as everyone knows always has an off game in every series(which is normal(so he will likely fail sometimes too barring that occasional 50+innings) and Rahim will have an off game here and there and today was one of those days.

Naeem and Riyad will not get the chop simply because Naeem played decent enough recently to not get the chop in the test series and had a 50 in the last ODI series. Riyad was on great form prior to getting ill right before the West Indies series. Nafees recently hit a first class century so he will not likely get the chop either as we are out of replacements for this format of the game.

I will keep the same XI except bring in Nazmul for Reza and Elias Sunny for Razzak! playing with an extra batsmen(Kayes) will not likely help us so this lineup makes sense to me!

Pakistan had a luck escape. Yes the depth in batting (and that one person called Afridi) but the frailties in batting are there for all to see

Bangladesh could have held on to that catch off Afridi and things could have been diffrent!

For Bangladesh - important to take any chance that comes their way

For Pakistan - Batsmen not doing too good on these pitches.

Next game will be closer.

Okay I didn't see the match but everyone is talking about the dropped catch. What happened? Were we seriously expecting to bowl out Pakistan within 91?

I just saw that dropped catch by SN on first slip, Pakistan would have been 65/6.

I know it will sting all the Abir fan but Imrul would have caught it.

Pak just messed up chasing small total, they scored quick 40 runs then lost 3 quick wicket. Nothing to say about BD game really.
