Looks good although the BCB XI bowling attack seems to lack potency with lots of batsmen in the line up.

You don't want to give the opposition batsmen a good bowling attack whatever we have in the practice match.

Practice match with very strong batting line up. Message is clear here. Batsman performing well will get the nod for tests.

True, however nothing beats match practice and guys like Mortaza who hasn't played the longer format in a while could really do with it.

^Hopefully just to make up numbers, although I'd probably include a couple of younger players if that's the sole purpose. The exposure could count.

i am interested to see how Nur Hossain does. A good leg spinner could be very handy in our test bowling lineup

Wanted to see Nafees Iqbal in the practice match team. But after that 150 he failed to score anything big. So cant complain there.

I am glad to see some national team batsmen have been selected for the practice match. This will give them good exposure to NZ bowling attack and this exposure will be helpful in test matches. Dont want to see spinners playing in this match though and have them play on a green turf..Shouldn't give NZ any flavor of the test match wickets or spin

Its a good squad overall. Good to see that they put Riyad in for the practice match. Just because he's a VC doesn't mean he should get a free ride. If Naeem, Mominul and Marshall outperform him then they should get in to the 1st Test squad ahead of him.

Good to also see that Anamul, Shamsur and Jahurul playing the practice match as well. Anamul will likely get in. Whoever performs best out of Shamsur and Jahurul should get the nod.

Liked the fact that they put Shabbir and Soumya in. Shabbir should be in for the T20 team.

I think its because Mehrab scored the 2nd most runs in FCs and Farhads been a good domestic performer for a while.

I doubt he's in consideration yet for a national team spot. Hes improved on his consistency but needs to be more if he wants to get in. He's more of a prospect right now. I think in about a yr or so he'll be strongly considered.

They got the squads right for once. Not too many complaints about the selection. Glad there's no SRK.

couple of surprise with soumya, shabbir and nur but they are up and coming youngsters. a good squad overall. a little bit shocked mosaddek isn't there, not because i think he should be in there just yet but because it's something i would expect the selectors to do and they didn't.

only missing Nazmul due to his injury ... the squad is perfect otherwise. But Pre squads are always decent. Its the final squad our selectors love to mess with.

Mosaddek is going to the WI now for an U19 tour. Let's be a little patient with him. I know he's a big time prospect but he still has a ways to go before he thinks about the national team.
