Not sure if strength is the issue, Nepalese in general are quite stronger than they look especially the pahari ones. Lack of boundaries could be due to good bowling, tight fielding, slow pitch or a combination of all.

With such a weak batting side, we will struggle to win the plate championship next year....

I am hoping for BCCI to file a complain against him. Someone needs to stop Nepal from fielding all those old guys. This is a mockery of age group cricket.

Well, I read that Rahul Dravid, being classy individual that he is offered words of encouragement to the coach of Nepal after the game.

I don't know how BCCI wil play this out... they're more concerned with Malaysia

This is frustrating - the team has quality openers like Saif and Afif, yet the coach entrusting Pinak with the job!

Anyway, excellent ongoing partnership between Saif and Towhid!

335, batsmen did their part to give a NRR boost. Now it's up to the bowlers to wrap up Malaysia quickly. We outscored India - 25 runs more than what they scored against Malaysia.

Things are turning hairy in Group B - Pak, SL, Afg all three may end up with two wins each.

At least Malaysia have the decency not to pick age cheaters in the U/19 team. Here is a photo of their captain Virandeep Singh:
