This series was basically poor from a cricketing point of view. Not too much exciting to see apart from 1) Pakistani bowling 2) Jamshed and Dhoni's batting

Paul Nixon says the match was fixed

Quote:
New Delhi: Former England wicketkeeper Paul Nixon on Sunday suggested that Pakistan players deliberately threw the dead rubber ODI against India at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on Sunday.
"Pakistan throwing this game away eh. Watch this space. Pakistan will just loose last few balls," he tweeted during the latter half of Pakistan's collapse, which saw the visitors lose their last six wickets for 38 runs, including 2 for 12 in the batting Powerplay, to give India a consolation victory.

Akmal is not that great of a batsman but for some reason whenever he plays us he turns into a beast.

I was just thinking the same. "For captaining and highest score" - what! A bowler's game. They just make things up as they go along!
Ahjmal 5-fer goes a begging.

Good read.Thanks for sharing.
After this current series lost, I wasn't hurt at all like I used to in the past whenever Pakistan beat us in cricket match. It's about time to acknowledge that Pakistan have always produced more talented cricketers than us, specially in limited format of the game.No shame in admitting it.
Mohali semifinal loss would have been tough pill to digest, it was Tendulkar's last world cup,Most of my generation Indian fans have started watching cricket in mid 90's,from then Sachin and cricket was equivalent for many of us, After world cup win I have matured a lot as cricket fan to rise above nationalism and appreatiate good cricket even from opposition ,but if Pakistan had beaten us in Mohali then scar would have been to tough to heal.
