That's not true, this is not the first time, we are going to next stage, although in 2007 it was called super eights or something, it's all the same, moving to next stage of the game, or going past group stage. Well, I'm not ignoring the differences it has, but for govt to get worked up for cheap popularity isn't understadbale. A good/decent statement could have been enough to inspire.

This is players job to play good and win. They are not doing any favor to the country, then why country is doing a favor to them? These money could have been used for betterment of our poor cricket structure.

money is a good motivator, so I don't see why people are so over reacting, if I were a cricketer I would be happy & more motivated.
If it is a political thing who cares ? our politic sucks anyway.
