He is a young right handed opening batsman and plays for Young Pegasus. He is a member of Bangladesh U-17 squad and this is his first Premier League appearance.

Hey check out these stats and you'll start believing in Bangladesh.. BTW I am an Indian but I'd predicted that Bangladesh Bowling was the one to watch out for..

http://onedayers.com/cricket/odi/wor...all-teams.html
Saqibul hassan is at No. 7 even before the world cup in this list!

Khaled Mashud is at No. 3 in Wicket keeper rankings here..

Abdur Razzak is at No. 3 in these Bowler Rankings!

Awsome article Miraz. Alot of research must have been done to write this. All hats of to you.

I like to say that its important that we create bouncy pitches for domestic and international cricket in Bangladesh. Just look at how India, Pakistan and Srilanka struggles overseas. All though Srilanka is doing better now overseas compared to India and Pakistan but still they stuggle especially in test matches. Its alot easier to play from bouncy pitches to flat pitches compared to flat pitches to bouncy pitches. If we develop in bouncy pitches and play well on them I think we shouldnt struggle much on flat pitches anyways.
If possible we could also practice or sometimes play in flat for domestic and international cricket. In that way we can have variety to benift ourselves from both condition.

I'll second that, the thread completely bypassed me too.

Just spent the last 45 minutes poring over these stats.

Excellent work Miraz bhai

16 years old and averaging 43 in Dhaka League? I'm excited.

On that note, who are the outstanding players from our next U19s batch?

Miraz bhai...I heard Bangladesh domestic league was based on the Australian system and since u have done so much research....I hope u can shed some light on that. We need a strong domestic foundation to be a more consistent side. I really want BD to follow the Australian model and certainly not India's where there are so many teams....hardly anybody gets noticed.
