Pittsburgh is a different team at home. They played a great game, their coach did a great job keeping Zetterberg away from Crosby/Malkin lines...but I don't see them winning a game at the Joe; especially if Datsyuk comes back. Detroit is in a league of its own. I just love how they go on year after year without having to rebuild and contend for the cup every year.

Beamer-

Touché and the snow chicken humble pie tastes as gross as expected, but where's the whining?

This one may go to 7. We've never been pushed like this in the SCF. Having said all that, I have no doubts about the final outcome and Nick lifting our 12th and his 5th.
Hmm, perhaps because I'm not on Cidy, I don't see it. Talk about projection even when there's no need. Gloat while it lasts, that'll stave off the meds as long as it does. Happy to see you happy ...

3 unanswered goals in the opponent's building doesn't win hockey games. Definitely the better team of the night won. Sadly for you, the team of the night isn't quite the team of the series yet. Didn't win on the road yet ... ooooooo, where is that double session of therapy, I wonder? ...

Looking forward to watching Cindy cry again in her building like last year, the first REPEAT loser in years, maybe the first one in front of her Johns. If that doesn't happen, we prevail in our own building. Either way, a win win situation.

Gloating? No. Just a reminder that your prediction business, which changes all the time, is funny and has no merit. I never predict. I also clearly said after Game 3 that the better team probably lost. By that same token, after close observation of the two road games in Detroit, I said we were unlucky to not earn a split. When I cheer, its gloating, when you repeat same slogans in " Red and Bold" , such as , Detroit in 5, or 6, and now 7, its just cheer!

Yes you were whining about calls. You guys had two back to back PP's, including a brief 5 on 3, but gave up a short handed goal. You should focus on your inept special team plays. Come to think of it, in one break away, Malkin was hauled down by Hijra, but nothing was called. Also, in the last play, Kunitz towards the empty net should have been awarded a goal as the rulebooks suggested.

Well, now that the series is tied 2-2, the hardest thing to do is ahead of us. Somehow, someway we have to steal a game over there. Chicken Wings are good at home. They have the last change and Fleury must guard against the overactive boards that was the reason for our downfall in Game 1. Its a daunting task, but we have a history of winning game 5 there from last year, though its probably irrelevant at this point. We have to attack with our speed and be very physical. Can't wait for do or die game tomorrow night. Lets Go Pens!

Beamer-

I wasn't whining about calls or the lack there of, simply pointing them out and moving on for a few of reasons:

1) To counterbalance your claim of "ethical" Pens hockey as opposed to our own brand to the contrary.

2) To demonstrate that no matter how human error impacts a game, it remains a part of hockey and in the end, the better team wins. Clutch moments of greatness is the key.

3) To diagnose the level of infection plaguing your sense of clarity as you continue to see what you wish to see irrespective of what's there ...

The prediction game has serious pitfalls and of course I know that. But it also has another, less obvious set of functions. Get those false hopes all the way up there and set yourselves up with a harder fall, until you too become a "we'll do it next year" team, like Toronto ...

You'll feel that after G5 and especially after G7, when we lifting the Cup and Cindy earns, among her many individual awards, the rarest distinction of becoming a REPEAT loser. I Don't think we'll win G6 in your building this time around. Then again, as the greatest hockey team of this era, we always surprise ourselves with undiscovered layers of greatness in unexpected moments.

SHOW NO MERCY, LEAVE NO DOUBT, LET'S GO RED WINGS! MOTOR CITY MUSCLE, BABY!!!12 & 5 in 12!!!!!!

On a different note, there have been interesting developments in our camp. Hossa's 7 year deal was leaked with explosive repercussions before Kenny put a muzzle on it for now. About 50% of the Wingnuts want this and the others don't because they don't want to lose Sammy, Hudler and Val. Not to mention Conklin as Ozzie is likely to call it quits after he wins his 4th Cup, and becomes the greatest SCF goalie of all time.

I don't want to lose Val either but letting Hossa go would be dumb. He is and has consistently been at the top 10 of really good players in the league since his debut. Not worried about Conks because I know Kenny will find the way as he always does. The others will be replaced because of our exceptional recruitment and development system. 3 seasons, sometimes less, with Griffins have continued to produce guys who consistently outperform big named, overhyped "Next Ones" and "Phenoms".

Also, the greatest defenseman to play the game may call it quits. It is important for him to raise his kids in Sweden, irrespective of his off the ice charitable activities in Metro Detroit. He'll probably run our recruitment and development setup in Europe. Now nobody can possibly replace him but Rafalski, Junior, Stuart, Ericsson, Lebda and KIndl are more than capable of keeping the system going. I'm expecting a smooth transition there. As smooth as it was when Stevie retired. Looking forward to seeing #5 hoisted up there alongside #s 19, 9, 10, 7 and 1.

His departure and Cheli's, no matter when that is, will also make us financially more capable. McCarty and Maltby are also set to retire. Draper still has a couple of more seasons, if not more, left in him. All is well. Great to be the best ...

Meet Pavel Datsyuk gentlemen ... the clean hit on Malkin, the shotless PK, the takeaways, and that pass to put us ahead ... 1-0 Wings ...

1-0 Wings after 1. Good game from the Pens so far. This is the best I've seen them play as a team at the Joe, and this INCLUDES their triple OT win in G5 last year. Bylsma has made a huge difference in the way they play defense. More sticks in the passing lanes and better, more frequent use of the poke check, even from Orpik. Almost no TOs in their own zone, winning more races to the puck, and Fleury made some good saves. They're outshooting us but Malkin has been contained and Cindy has never been a match for Nick.

Gotta come out harder and score in the PP.

Junior scores on the PP ... what a move! 3-0 Wings!

Great sustained puck possession in the O Zone always results in good things!

Cindy's faggotry gives us another PP. The filthy, overrated, overhyped, cheatin' lil "man" hoe is coming unraveled. Outclassed and reality threatening to break down those delusions. What a p***y!

"Changed" my @$$! He's the same piece of narcissistic $hite he has always been. REPEAT LOSER!

5-0 Wings after 2. Great demonstration of "ethical" hockey from the Snow Chickens ...

The ugly loser bros Pang and Pierre are getting ready to sympathy f*** Cindy after the game. Pang has his head all waxed and lubed just for that purpose. $hitty players, worse commentators.

no one can compete with the Wings in their own building with the matchup advantage. Having said that, it's shameful how Crosby and Malkin took those two dirty penalties...and that slash on Datsyuk by Talbot trying knowing he has a injured foot is suspension worthy.

on a different note...Hossa aint signing no 7 year deal in Detroit...he's going to be a hab next year

The Wizard of Oz gets the shutout and an assist, as the PANG'SQUEENS get owned, COMPREHENSIVELY outclassed and thrashed after a decent start. This is what a full strength Red Wings team can do to you. Without Malkin, these guys wouldn't be where they have been over the last two years, because without him, they're almost as good as the Columbus BJs, something Cindy has become an expert at to keep her media Johns happy. Freebees too, just ask Pierre McGuire.

Looking forward to lifting the Cup AGAIN in their own building, and watch the REPEAT LOSER sulk and cry her eyes out!

Good to see Ozzie at the top of the crease again, cutting off and playing the angles right. Always had faith in that lighting quick glove hand.

Post #282 bro. I want him to stay but his exit will open up options for us and keep Val and Hudler. Sammy's as good as gone. That'll also make it a lot easier for us to sign Conks. If Nick goes back to Sweden, then the Hossa contract becomes less expensive in light of what we lose.

Having said all that, I think he'll stay after knowing what it feels like to win the Cup with one of the greatest ever NHL dynasties, and become immortal with his name engraved on the Grail ...
