The Official Xbox One Thread
I've been a lifelong player of the Madden NFL series and even though I don't really follow football any more I'm still a fan of playing the game. I've played Maddens 99, 2001, 2005, 2009, 2012, and most recently 2016.
2016 is the most thorough in terms of gameplay, and it is different from the AI used in previous games. For example in Maddens 99 and 2001 on the Nintendo 64, all you had to do was throw the ball, and take user control of a WR and make the catch. Obviously didn't work every time, but eventually you got good enough to dominate. With more realistic physics engines on Madden 2005 (Xbox) on forward, you actually had to time passes with the routes run - which makes the game more realistic. Fast forward to the present and Madden 2016 allows you to control the game like never before while also maintaining a realistic and challenging balance.
Anyways, I just discovered a cricket game, which I am currently downloading and its called Don Bradman Cricket 17. Its the 2nd edition of the game with teh original being DBC 14.
For the first time, a cricket game has the cricket equivalent of Madden and NBA Live's "franchise mode".
The downloand will take all night...so I'll play it tomorrow and let you know how it is. Its 60 bucks but seems to be the best cricket game available on console or PC. Just hope the Xbox One is really region free as advertised.
