BDFlag Congratulations, Gladiators, the first BPL Champions.

Congratulations, Dhaka Gladiators - the first BPL Champions, and all DG fans. Ian Pont with his coaching team was great.

The stadium was very festive, colorful and full of enthusiasm; the crowd was loving it .

Now the BPL is over for this year. It was a good league and a good showcase for BD in the world.

Congrats to Barisal Burners as well for reaching the final and becoming the first runner-up in the BPL. Hodge was cool and calm.

*****Congrats, Shakib as the Man of the tournament.

Congrats to Ian and the boys. Ian, for months you have talked the talk - great to see your team walk the walk and back up your coaching philosophies. As for another Australian coach whose name pertains to matters legal, no comments

Well done Dhaka & Pak boys. Not as exciting game I expected, but nevertheless first ever final may caused some tense for both team.

Congrats to them. DG was one of the favorites to win the cup and they have done it.

Hopefully next time around, we will see more good players from Bangladesh and other parts of the world, not just focusing on only Pakistani players.

Congrats to Dhaka for winning the BPL Cup! They deserved it in the end and adding Afridi and Ajmal at the end did the trick. Nazir is some kind of player as well. Now hopefully Dhaka represent us well in the CLT20. They are definitely a team that can make some serious noise.

Congratz to Dhaka Gladiators . They played better cricket throughout the BPL and to me they have given more chance to the local players than other teams . So i am happy they won. Hopefully DG will get the chance to play CLT 20 and will rock there also .

Dhaka is the team whose local players have excelled the most among the locals. Ashraful, mortaza, sunny, anamul, Rubel..this guyz have done really well.

DR, BB(least), KRB, SR....in these teams the locals didnt perform much. CG had their local players doing well and even fielded 7 locals in a game

So is Dhaka into the CLT20??

If so, then they have a good team. Pollard wont be available so they have to content with the Paks and stevens

But TBH, I think 2 teams from BD should get a chance in the CLT20...

Really worked for DG. Good and smart selection by Bashar and Co.. Mash played so many games without any injuries. Hope he will be available for the national team now and on.

We're doomed, Doomed, DOOMED! Then again, we have been from day one.

Congratulations Dhaka! As Julien would say, "Robinnnn...good win good win good win". Or was it Grant?

Congrats to Dhaka Gladiators.
This is some team we have here.

If we go to CLT20 Qualifiers, even then, DG will be a contender to win the whole tournament.

Mash, Ash, Sunny, Anamul, Nizam to go with Pollard, Afridi, Azmal, Imran and Stevens can take on any national side any day. Mind you, if Mumbai Indians dont make it, Pollard will be ours.
DG's bench warmers can also punch a few blows with the likes of Nazmul, Dhiman, Kervezee, MH Rubel.

Go Dhaka !!
