that meant there was lot moistures in the track...if bd played two pacers the spinners wont have been probably in the attack till the 14 overs......but early spin meant the turn was sharp and arm bowls skided....resulting some of the zims two go hard at the bowl and providing return catches

When the coach is so concerned then there is more than a little fuss.

Good read. Madugalle is watching. There will be two WC matches here. There are bigger stakes than one may think.

Well overhyped.....
should be blaming the schedule....to schedule a 8.30 start in the onset of winter....
the pitch hardly had any cracks or wear and tear....the curator should be a genius if he can make track that looks a belter but acts like mine field

8:30 start? I thought the match started at 10:30 local time.
As for the curator, lol, I read yesterday, he had no clue why the ball spinned so much.
This should make our curator better knowing how this pitch works. I am glad we got this one out of the way. Wish Mo Rafique was sent to some training.

dash is right. Go back a few posts. He was referring to effective time with day light saving considerations.

So far, whoever fielded first won the game.
Looks like 5th ODI will not be any different.

Yeah, the match effectively starts 8:30 AM local, that too in a winter morning. So moisture should be again a huge factor.
Remembering how Dolar exploited early morning moisture in the last ODI in Zim, I think he should be given a chance in this match, in place of Naeem or Riyad (or Shakib, if team management decide to rest him for this dead rubber match).

Every body should be in T20 mood.
I hope this one also end before lunch. This is the last game. And ZIM need some time to do some shopping before flying back home. And we, some of the fans, can have a decent sleep before going to work next day.

That's interesting, because right after he took that catch...

They are not going back home. They are going to South Africa for 2-ODI series starting on 8th.

what i wud love to see is Zimb rlly testing SA - that would indicate that both the Zimbos and BD are becoming better cricketing nations.
