I am an old fashioned guy. I prefer 35-0 after 10 overs than 15-2.

Today where are those who used to mock Imrul by calling him KaEdge?

^ I can't believe we agree on Imrul. One of my all time favorites. Also represents Bd's smallest district, Meherpur.

Imrul on flat english decks? We'd need to go at 8 an over and the guy will pile on dots and put pressure on tamim. He's very useful on 250 pitches as his style suits the grounds, but we really need an attacking partner at the top.

Tamim does better as the anchor, after all.

^^ Totally agree with you. It's time for Rhodes to lock his options between Tamim, Liton, and Soumya.

I would reserve my opinion on Imrul until next few games to see if he really has improved because we have already seen this in the past that whenever he made come backs he performed but failed to perform consistently and so gets dropped

Imrul should play at 5, not open. Mosaddek should be the backup/alternative for that position.

Liton and esp Mosaddek are our best test prodigies, and we should persist with them in that format (instead of Sabbir and Soumya, facepalm). Not sure about Liton in ODIs, but he might be the best option (who else has 40+ avg in List A?).

As for the other big issue, #7 (sorry, going off topic here), keep trying diff players including Soumya.

While his recent performance has been impressive compared to other openers. Out of these 15, 7 innings are in sub-continent conditions with an excellent average of 71.16 with 3 50's and 1 century. In the other 8 innings (outside Asia) his average is 30 with two 50s against NZ & SA.

I'd not mind keeping him as an option for matches in home conditions. But I'd not trust him in English conditions.

Had Imrul not hit that FOUR off the last ball of the innings, BD would have lost against AFG.

OK, enough of Imrul praising. Hope he continues to perform.

looking at Imrul's stats in recent years, why was he dropped in the first place? His last ODI series was in SA and he scored a 50+ score there. But in BD's next ODI series he is dropped. Was he injured at the beginning of this year?

I think Thinking about WC right now is really looking too far ahead. Let him continue to perform like this, let him work on his SR a bit. I loved the way he rescued us against the "mighty" Afgans and hope he will continue to make us proud. I wish him all the best

We used to have solid partnership from these two until we started losting and somehow those lostes became pinned on our opening - non-existent- dilemma. Problem with us is that we don't have to give them enough space, time and nurture to grow.

I think among all the partners Tamim has had, I think Kayes is the lesser among the evils. Although I like how Kayes played with maturity in the last game.

Imrul won’t be useful with his tuk tuk batting in English condition.

I still believe BD lost the tri series in Jan 2018 because of not having Imrul.

I would take tuk tuk Kayes to build an innings than get Lamborghini Liton who gets out FAST AND FURIOUS and score no runs and the team is already 1 wicket down!

Mithun has opened in BPL. He should be Tamims partner. I’d stick with Das for a bit. If Mushy doesn’t still want to come up at #3 , play Liton at 3.

Sarkar and Mominul should be out of ODI contention this decade. Mominul be forever.
