other than Mash all are medium-pacers...(even Mash version 2.00 is a medium-pacer too in the international standard)

nice thread BP, good luck to you and the boys.
I want Shamsu/JAhurul to come in place of Momin
What the Zim commentators said in previous match is that BD didn't play their best cricket but still won it easily.
So I am hoping this time Tamim,Ash & specially Mushy & SAkib score big, and as some1 mentioned I also don't like the dependence on NAsir.
And I'm pretty sure Zim will come back strongly.

We may not like it, but exposure matters. If Nasir was doing this in a high-profile series, he would be very likely to be nominated. That's okay, though. I think the world will know of him pretty soon.

We shouldn't expect the "rescue act" from Nasir on each and every day. Top order have to live up to their names and deliver. Bowling seems to be quite balanced despite Shakib's poor run. I think Razzak could bowl some magic spell tomorrow (as an unsung hero)

@David Coltart
Lest #Bangladesh get excited re this match it must be stated that this #Zimbabwean team is missing many of our best ODI players.
Who are you guys missing? Andy flower, geraint jones, grant flower, heath streak, campbell, goodwin?

I'm not one for excuses, and to be honest these "missing" players won't really make that much of a difference. Maybe he's talking about, Craig Ervine, Charles Coventry etc who've chosen club cricket over international cricket.
However, if he's talking about Zimbabwean players who are unavailable, he has a point. The likes of Gary Ballance, Sean Ervine, Glenn Querl etc will seriously improve this Zimbabwe team. Zimbabwe is consistently losing young talented players to England and Ireland and at this rate Zimbabwe will never progress.

Is Bulawayo our home ground. We are winning 7 to 2. Thats a big difference for 2 teams who are considered even steven by critics.

The last statement was a bit of sarcasm. Its not like Zimbabwe have some quality players in their disposal.
But given the resources they have at present, i dont think they are missing out on too much. They have a decent looking side at present though I would think ervine should play instead of panyangara.
Its Zim's headache if they lose out on players. You cannot blame the players. They are getting much better facilities and money playing in England. ZC offers them peanuts given the financial crisis. All we can do is wish team all the very best for the future. At present, they need bring back some sanity off the field as well as on the field.

Good thread BP. Still, ideally you would want "vs" somewhere in the thread. Like Bd(with some pic) vs Zim(with some pic). But nevertheless, a good match thread.

We will definitely win today .We don’t even have to play our A game to win this one, if we can only manage to bring out our b plus game from the stack it’s almost certain that we will beat them comprehensively……………. Yes we r that good now :p

Just realised had the 2011 Zimbabwe tour taken place a month earlier, prior to the 1st Aug cut off, we would've been ranked 7th in ODIs.
All the best Bangladesh. Let's win the series tomorrow.
