Hannan fails again! Not a single score over 20 in Namibia or SA. Poor build up, especially if he is our first choice partner for Rokon as opener.

Partnership
Hello boys and girls,
I see that Hannan Sarkar has hurried back to the benches as usual...I am completely baffled about why all three of Hannan, Ehsanul, and Tushar are playing today.
Anyway, I say we need a solid partnership right here between Sumon and Al Sahariar...its either this or the usual collapse. Not very hopeful though...Sumon just hit two two FOURs in the 7th over, one of which was cut "high".
6.2 Tweedie to Habibul Bashar, FOUR, oooh cut high past point

Personal WAR
between Sumon and Rokon - let's see who gets out first and let's see who can make the most fours (not bad though - shows that they have confidence - we need that) on the way.

Govind
The criicnfo links are out of whack .. they don't have the right stats for the players when you click on them.
I did notice that they said this was the first wicket for govind for the Dolphins (KZN Dolphins that is). So, this was the rookie's first wicket ? SAD.

Sumon wins the "personal war"...manages to head back first. Excellent---now he can relax...get a drink...in peace instead of sweating out in the middle.

Man, I always thought Rokon was the best strokemaker of our side...but wow, he has really blossomed on these SA pitches. My respect for him is growing by leaps and bounds.
On another note: it could be the 2nd-rate bowlers. But isn't Natal the third ranked team in SA?

Just look at his scores in the last series in SA ... He loves it here. Maybe BCB should try to hook him up with one of the state sides.

No matter how well they play, our batsmen just cant resist the urge to give the fans the occasional heart attack.

We need more
Rokon is just one man ... we need more .... Say, it's been a while since Tapash scored a 40 or so...
(Can't name any other names as I fear retribution from certain wings among the fans)

Is this a good dream? I hope they don't mess up in the end. Rokon should just stop the speed. We only need for him to stay at the wicket from here on. Let's see what happens. Sumon has really not shouldered the responsibilty for some time now. May be he should realize that he can de dropped.

Sumon
I think we have been very very nice to Sumon for a long time. He needs to start producing. Now, we don't hessitate to compare him with any of the replacables (Tusher, Hannan etc). I am sure he is aware of that, now he needs to make his bat do the talking and shut us up.

If Sumon is going to score a max of 20 we might as well take the risk of bringing in Shujon who can at least roll over his sleeves for a few overs. I still think Sumon is our best batsman, but he has to produce runs very very soon. Just as I was writing this post Rokon is out.

Importance of Partnerships....
Current Partnership (Al Sahariar / Ehsanul) 65 Runs
Last Partnership (Al Sahariar / Habibul) 64 Runs
These are the kinds of partnerships we need to win matches.
Make that 74 runs for current partnership.
ACTUALLY, STRIKE THIS MESSAGE...ROKON JUST OUT....
