He should not be playing IPL. He is still young. He should have really concentrated on improving his skill in the longer version and his fitness. I am fine him playing longer version in England. IPL is very hectic schedule and draining. You don't have much time to work on your skills. One can do minor adjustments but simply don't have enough practice hour left. Look what happened to Shakib. I am of the opinion that technical skill set of Shakib has not improved much beyond 2012.

Who are the other bowlers in his team?

So far only Shakib is successful in IPL, hope he plays to his potential and shines

Don't blame IPL for Shakib not improving his technical skills. Many others have taken part and still do/play well for respective national team, just like Shakib does. Shakib reached his maximum output in the technical area, nothing more to add.. In the sense of performance he will do much better in coming days.

Agree, you cant blame IPL for Shakib not working on his bowling.

The issue is if you keep playing in all these PL's, where is ur time to work in the nets and hone ur skills? I doubt these franchise teams will be spending time teaching players new tricks and technique.

Trent Boult and Ashish Nehra both swing bowlers, I reckon they might go with 3 pacers... But that would mean 3 left arm pacers in starting XI.

Please don't over hype this boy. Let him play his first IPL and grow at his own pace.

We have someone real special here, lets not over burden him..

IPL is money making machine for individual players, I care less how much/less wicket he gets in IPL. I care more how many wickets he gets when he play the next game for Bangladesh.

I won't be bothered about his performance in IPL. Did not want him to play in that circus league with injury anyway !

This. I just want him to aquire more skills from Boult and Nehra and improve his own game, so he can win matches for Bangladesh

What I'm scared about is if some Indian players like nehra blackmail him into learning about how he bowls his cutters. That's one thing I want to remain a secret

^ if Nehra can snap his wrist like the fizz, only then he can learn the cutters.. so dont worry about it and he is 36 close to his retire age.

Lol at people saying nehra will blackmail him, the guy is 36 and played well, on the other hand, new guys can definitely learn a thing or two from mustafizur, on the other hand ipl experience can also be handy for mustafizur, remember he isn't a complete product yet, he will have to learn how to handle pressure, how to deal with guys who can read you and score runs against you, people are underestimating nehra he is like old wine, can certainly teach the most important thing to mustafizur, that is how to handle pressure.

The other thing is since its a long tournament, people might read his cutters a lot better than they are now doing.

omg are serious on blackmailing cannot believe someone can come out with this idea)
mustafiz needs to learn lot, to me this will be huge opportunity for him
to learn lots of things out of comfort zone. i am sure he will shine in ipl but additionally learn lots of things which will help him for future. you cannot be afraid of "what if things", if he is real deal no one can stop him.

Easily the biggest tournament in Musta's career so far. No point in performing on all those JAMODIs in Mirpur. Perform here at the daddy league in the modern home of cricket and get noticed by all. That is how you become an overnight superstar.

And some people want him to skip IPL
