Time for mushfiq to be dropped. He is seriously struggling at shorter format.

Time to drop Mushfiqur Rahim who Tamim supposes as our best batsman.

The team should be

Shabbir
Shakib
Liton
Riad
Nurul
Sohag Gazi
Mustafizur
Rubel
Al Amin

hope to see taskin back

We don't need more bowlers. What we need are batsmen. Our batting dept is seriously weak now

What I meant was we need decent in-form batsmen. Bits and pieces batsmen like Shakib or Mushfiq no longer counts as batsmen

We don't have that many decent in-form batsmen in the bench. That's the problem

Yup, no one scoring big in the shorter formats. When was the last time DPL was held? We need 2 50 over tournament a year, one long one short

We need better replacements for the following players in the T20 team

1. Mithun Ali
2. Shuvagata Hom
3. Mushfiqur Rahim
4. Soumya Sarker

These 7 players are more or less settled -

1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Shakib Al Hasan
3. Sabbir Rahman
4. Mustafizur Rahman
5. Mahmudullah
6. Mashrafe Mortaza
7. Al- Amin

Taskin will be back soon and take the place of Shuvagata.

Sometimes dropping a player no matter how talented they are helps their form, ask Michael Clarke or Simon Katich.

Tamim
Anamul
Sabbir
Shakib
Mushfiq
Mahmudullah
Soumya
Mashrafe
Al-Amin
Mustafiz
Taskin

Spin option: Taijul

An in-form Mush is a world-class ODI and Test batsman and an OK one in T20. We've a decent WK-batsman alternative in Liton in Test. There are no alternatives in LOI. Liton isn't good in LOIs with his off-side game, and Nurul can barely hold a bat in any format.

Taijul was the best Bangladeshi spinner in BPL 3. I don't know why he doesn't get any chances in LOIs. He can spin the ball, gives the ball air, and isn't any less accurate than Arafat, who darts them in and is more predictable.

Don't see a better option than Soumya for #7. He might actually come good in that position. The alternatives range from poor to awful.

We need a #2 that fires. That's the most important out of all these changes. You can't be a good T20 batting side with just one good opener. If Anamul clicks, we'll be in business.

Mash ain't settled. The man himself has hinted at t20 retirement.

From an outsiders point of view
1 Mash is a passenger in T20's,doesn't bowl his full quota, and his strike rate is poor.
2Bangladesh did not win a game in the main group, captain has to fall on his sword.

Time to retire and give someone else the reigns in T20 who will be autmatically picked,Tamim,Shakib or Mahmudullah,if thats how you spell his name.

Passengers come and go, I am less worried about our passenger. A disruptive passenger can be off-loaded from the plane any time.

I am more worried about our permanent member in the plane i.e. the pilot, the co-pilot, aeronautical engineer, the cabin crews. Its hard to get rid of them, if they are screwed, you are screwed big time. You cannot sack them so easily for their strong labor union and strict firing policy.

Hom and Mitun is not the real and long term problem. The lack of performance from the senior and core players are the real and long term problem.

Super start Tamim scored 3 runs (SR 37), #2 all-rounder Sakib scored 2 runs (SR 33), the untouchable new sensation SS scored grand total of 6 runs (SR 75), Born again Riyad scored 5 runs (SR 62), the best batsman in the team Mushfiq scored a Golla (SR 00), The new floater in town, Mashrafee, scored 3 (SR 60)...they all did in the same game.

That's why the plane crashed....when all crew in a plane screws up, the plane is bound to crash, no point blaming the journeyman passengers.

I ll bring u 19 Saifuddin. He is a perfect prospect for t2o. He is a good lower hard hitter plus can do yorker.

I ll try Big Z and Jahrul too.
Liton will shine too.

Yes ... hopefully he will get some chance in Team-A followed by some good performance in next BPL ( Nov)....who knows ... he may be the talk of the town in 2017.

Spare some thoughts for Nazimuddin. The guy's international T20 stats are better than most of our batting order.

Unfair axes do happen. This is a reality. In the hype of terming everyone dead weight, we forget this reality.
