Loved how he approached the game. So many positives. I know it's early but his intent is perfect. Hope he can keep his focus and we may finally have a partner for Tamim.
Couple things I really liked about him:
- Plays with a straight bat
- Doesn't fish outside off stump early on
- Doesnt try too many shots against spinners like most of our other players
- Doesnt show any obvious defects in his technique
- Not nervy
He is coming in at a perfect time too. Has a few years of experience under him and has been improving steadily over the years.
Hopefully the selectors give him some time to figure this format out before introducing him to the shorter formats.
Shadman has scored runs everywhere before coming to international cricket , he is the real deal. Now showing everyone he belongs in international cricket as well
Early days but seems positive with Shadman. Has proper test qualities. Would like to see how he fields and how the second innings goes. Would have been great if he managed to get the 3 figure mark
Havent seen him bat but what I liked most about him was that he took 199 deliveries to score 76 runs. Close to 4 hours in the crease, Only 6 boundaries and 60% defensive shots. Genuine test innings. Hope he goes far.

How did he perform in the domestic LO matches? Are you saying this based on his test innings or you took his LO domestic performance into consideration

Bangladesh can definitely use a player like Cheteshwar Pujara , i.e someone who never looks like getting out. However, too early to comment on Shadman's batting.
Only thing one can say with certainty after one innings is that he is not prone to brain fart.

Isam on Cricinfo -
"He's had a good time in recent Dhaka Premier League seasons as well, averaging 47.00 in 2017 and 46.20 in 2018, and his chart-topping numbers - 680 runs at 64.80 - in the ongoing National Cricket League made sure he couldn't be ignored by the national selectors anymore."

On a serious note, he is not a limited over batsman for now. Selectors should not rush him in the LOI squad for now as his strike rate needs to improve.
