This match is almost over now lets concentrate on odis
Yuppi. Herath rested for Bangladesh ODIs. So we at least don't have tension in the batting department, and their batting is also young. can we look for banglawash..

Finally, Gazi gets Sanga.
As always, we are that 100 odd runs short.
With 3 wickets down, if they had to chase 260 odd, it would made things interesting now.

If only Shakib was there...
He would have definitely put more pressure on Sri Lankan batsmen than our pacers or the ineffective Sunny.

But Malinga is there. With our inexperience batting line up, he can be deadly

Good fight from BAN. SL would have struggled without Herath

Energy saving performance by Bangladesh team today. Hope they will use up the savings well in ODIs.

I thought batting let us down in this Test. Could've added another 100 more. We really missed Shakib in this Test. He'll be available for Zim series right?

Batting let us down hugely here in 2nd test. Tamim-less side actually erlier played more positively than this one. A min hundred more run could give our bowlers more chance to win for sure.
And I wasnt a big fan of any pacers here individually, but 3 pacer combo really worked well to bowled SL out unlikely under 350 and few in 2nd innings while SL chasing only 160. With Shakib in Zim its expectable a stronger bowling combo coming.

I am concerned at the uturn direction it took in batting from first test... Unacceptable performance from the senior players in batting in 2nd test

i think for test abul can stay for his extra pace (if he have any, didnt see him bowling)
ODI and t20--he is big No
shahadat bowled well too in first test and robiul bowled better than this two.

I don't think Malinga would be a big factor..

will this test be the last time we play 3 pacers on a subcontinent pitch? naki selectors need more stats/experience to come to that conclusion.
our pacers bowled 'ok' in general, but they are not wicket takers. Pace bowling in test is a different game altogether and until we have 3 pacers in control of their line we should never venture this path again.. even if we are playing in the lush green wickets of South Africa...

It would have been a very different match if SL had to chase 250. They had no pressure.

There was not much difference between the two teams, except for Herath and Sanga. Alas, it was enough for SL!

Clearly, Shakib's absence was felt big time in bowling. However, Enamul jnr's injury made it worse! We were down to 1 wicket taker, instead of 3. Robiul impressed in spurts, but he also bowled a lot of bad ones. Rubel bowled well in the first inning, but not in the second.

I think that the ODI series will be 2-1, but I don't know who will win. Both teams are stronger in this format and BD has the ability to win.

Why are you again blaming the selectors.... Playing 11 wasn't selectors job...it's the team management.
