poll Question: Are we past Zimbabwe level yet?

Answer: Not yet.

It takes years to get past a certain level. My belief is that we are still not above the Zimbabwe level yet.

Winning only a test and a One Day series (3-2) against Zimbabwe at home and losing the next series to Zimbabwe away (2-3) is not the best pointer to mark that our competition is higher up the ladder, i.e., WI or SL.

The fact that we have not been able to beat Zimbabwe 5-0 yet proves the fact that we have not reached that level yet where we can say that we past that level.

I remember there was a time when we all used to believe that we were ahead of Kenya and we still used to lose to them - BIG. It is only now that we can say that we have past Kenya since we have won vs. Kenya by whitewashing them both home and away.

Life is not full of bed of roses. If winning only a home series against Zimbabwe means to us that they are not our competition anymore then we're living in a dream land.

I don't think anyone grade Bangladesh ahead of Zimbo, just because BD win home series against them. There must be some other reasons, can you find any?
