Way to go Mashrafe
Misfielding I can deal with.
Dropping catches I can still deal with that.
Fearful while batting, that as well.
But demoralizing the team with loppas of 120k difficult to digest when you are the strike bowler and demand to be in the team. One has to contribute to the team at least in one part of the game.
You don't get your form back in the Intl stage.

He's looking pathetic to be completely blunt. I fear it might be quite a while until we see the old Mashrafe back. Till then, he needs to be dropped to make way for any of the other pacers. Right now, he looks the worst of the lot...

One drop catch or a mis-fielding may completely change the complexion of a match. These errors never even out like the umpiring decisions.
Mashrafe used to be a line and length bowler with a little bit of inswing. He can not bowl yorkers and with his current speed he can not bowl bouncer either. So, he is completely useless during the slogging overs. That is the skill-related info about Mash; but recently I suspect if he feels himself as a part of the team, must be mentally injured as well.

I think mashrafee will improve with time, but it is difficult to forgive him for walking out of the team when he was 12lb heavier... but, why blame him when the selectors decided to play him in that ODI series and we got to see bulky mashrafee... he kinda reminded me of Akram khan

lol next 25 target on our raider...
What a kopal we have have as bd fans. when a player reaches 25+ age (cert) he loses form and we get on his case until he is dropped and never to be seen again... ash gone now mash will be gone inshallah.
who's fault is this? fans or players? i think its management. why pick a 50% fit player? no clue what to do...

Give him some time guys.... Of all the chances we gave to AshraFOOL... atleast Mashrafee has constantly battled his injuries and tried to be back. And he lost 12 Kgs or Lbs? Either way, that's atleast some sort of commitment isn't it?
Honestly I play cricket here, and tournaments around New York as well. After a long lay off due to injuries specially, it's kind of hard to just come back and bowl at ur full pace or maintain proper line or length. Your body is just kind of not used to it. Takes a couple months. And it's even harder to come back with confidence or anything that will give u that extra mental edge when ur part of a team that is constantly not only losing, but losing BADLY.
But I'm confident he'll be back, give him some time. If he turns out to be a deflated balloon like Ash then he should be dropped that's for sure. But he deserves to be given some time to find his rhythm and pace.

Mash is completely out of sorts. Should not be in the team at the moment, best for him to play domestic cricket for a while and maybe, he will be better for the WC 2011.

Mash is no where near international match fit. He should work out and bowl and just bowl really in domestic or whatever.

I wonder if he will be in the Squad for the rest of the English tour, maybe, he should play against Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands but definitely NOT against England, the batsmen will hammer him.

I know you were joking, but it's true actually. While other people use marriage and family as an extra motivation, Bangladeshis; men or women, celebrity, athlete or common people; they use marriage an excuse to let go and just settle for mediocrity. As if the deal has been made, let's coast now :p

You have done well for Bangladesh dear Mashrfee...Now take some deserving rest man and take it easy on those knees, right? Relax, jog in the park, eat an ice-cream, enough of this cricket nonsense, if you know what I mean dada!! Bangladesh salutes you! You love you Mash!

maybe he should convince ash to lend him those green shades he has.surely he doesn't need to wear them when he has to run to the ground to offer drinks and bats to the players out in the middle!

I still feel Mash should be given a last try this year against Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland,
He should have taken that catch from Afridi who went on to do some great damage. He looked out of form completely.
