Go with a strong bowling lineup.. its already evident.. if u can do it, you can do it with 3-4 batsmen. Plus our bowling is already all over the place, no need to have part timers bowling overs.
Abu jayed isn't good man, Rubel and jayed are not better than Taskin, yet Taskin needs the drop, we've got problems

I might even go

Tamim
Das
Sarkar
Mushfiq
Ullah
Sabbir
Ariful
Mehedi
Hider
Mustafizur
Opu - if not, put one of the bums in

Taskin has to be dropped. He went for 15 an over in the powerplay. We can't afford this kind of rubbish bowling aginst Rohit and co.

Though Taskin is completely out of form but I think he is still better than the ones who are warming the bench. I guess we just have to accept the fact these pitches are batting paradise and so the bowlers are likely to give away some runs

Am I correct thinking that the result of this match would be almost meaningless to us if we cannot win the last match against SL.
e.g.

WIN v India - get 4 points... ahead of SL
LOSE v SL - SL will get 4 points but ahead of us in NRR

LOSE v India - let India get 6 points
LOSE v SL - SL will get 4 points and through

LOSE v India - let India get 6 points
WIN v SL - we will get 4 points and go through

in other words - this match is a DEAD RUBBER

Ya agreed - I would keep our winning combination and see how they perform/don't perform and then decide before the finale!

Back from uni, to once again waste my life/time with you lot, hopefully it won't be in vain and we can win this match.

Lets cue the snake jokes.

Can Mushfiqur slither away with a win here.

T20 is totally a batting dominant game. Dropping Taskin won't do much if our batsmen can't repeat their performance against SL. Even a 180 score may not be enough. However, I would pick Rony over Taskin/Rubel/Rahi.

Expect more from Soumya and Sabbir (if he plays). FYI, Liton & Sabbir were the only 2 to score >= 30 in the 2nd match against IND.

1. Tamim
2. Das
3. SS
4. Mushy
5. Ullah
6. Sabbir
7. Ariful
8. Miraz
9. Rony
10. Rubel
11. Fizz

I am still stunned by the awesomeness of that Mushfiqur innings. He doesnt have the power of Thisara or the natural timing of Rohit but he played to his strength so perfectly. Hats off to the little guy

What's up with Miraz btw? Always looks nervous. No poise, I know this is a different level, but others have been promoted from the under 19 set up as well in other teams. So he is facing his counterparts. Should not be scared. Should compete.

Rohit Sharma wants to score big today. Can our boys manage him? I really hope so. But expectations are very low.

Man, that is some humble hardworking attitude Washington Sundar has judging by that interview. Doing homework for every batsman, practicing everyday, always trying to get better.

Never heard any of our boys say anything like that. All they want to do is come to the national team, and stink up the joint, and fight for their spot, hence the hardcore celebrations. Everything is about justifying their spot. Getting back at critics. They should learn how to do what every true professional does, which is compete with themselves. Not do the cha cha or belly dancing, or the macarena or the dougie, or whatever to stick it to critics. Won't help them to get better.

Why 5bowlers? One of Miraz or Apu should been left out for Ariful. Surely you can make 4overs up from Mullah, Sarkar and ariful. No?

Both Miraz and apu add nothing with the bat, theres a long tail. Both been poor with the ball.

Bismillah. Not expecting a repeat of good performance from previous game but hope the performance is not bad when they last played with India.

Tbh this Mushfiq Nagini bashing I think has past its peak. lets move on
