Default Promoting Developing Countries...

How about a series to develop cricket in developing nations and to get some money for the developing countries ? It should be Twenty Twenty cricket to get more crowd attraction and TV rights. It should be between the developing countries... like Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Canada, Bermuda etc. It should be played in some ground like Sharjah for 5 to 10 days.... Could be telecasted in Tensports.. It should be played when the cricket is less played time.. of the off season..

What do you say about this idea ?

Even after the disappointing SL tour... it can be said with fair bit of confidence that Bangladesh has the ability to place itself within the top 2 positions among the teams you mentioned. Playing any series like you proposed will benifit the ODI ranked teams more (in terms of experience) and BD & ZIM will not be benifited much. Because playing opponents who are just a few steps higher in rank always benifits the weaker team most. Moreover, BD's current weakness is really in the longer version of the game (Tests). BD rather needs to play some 3/4 day practices matches against teams like the English(or other countries) County Clubs maybe if that is possible.

How about taking on Kenya and Zimbabwe immediately, for starters ? This will help all three countries.
