Default Another Post Mortem of Recent Failure - The lighter Note

A) Our players need to work on their concentration. specially when batting againt hostile bowling
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

B) Our players need to absorb assault and still have the fight-back attitude
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

C) Our player shouldn't show their weakness against quality bowling. Hide your frustration on-the-field and counter attack when/if possible
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

D) When you see slightest weakness of opponent ,exploit to its fullest, and don't even blink/hesitate for the final slamdunk:

E) Again, annihilate the opponent without any hesitation if opponent is off-guard due to few quick fall of wicket
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

F) The team needs to stretch their efforts and imagination to overcome superior opponents
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

G) Each player need to understand that to win with limited talent , requires full Team effort and coordinated and synchronized performance.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

H) Players need to understand the concept of Team first at the sacrifice of individuals; Individual statistics comes second. They need to adopt their batting style and individual goals based on team’s need at a particular time.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

H) Technique is all good and dandy, but performance and end-result should be the basis of player evaluation in the national team.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I) We need to know when and how to hit the opponent to his/her weakest point.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

J) We need to realize that International Cricket has a hectic schedule, it can take a toll on the players, unless they know how to take a break to release frustration and re-fuel their energy
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

J) We need to realize, sh[]t happens. When it happens, we need to take a step back and analyze what went wrong and how we can avoid the same mistakes.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

K) However when success comes, even it comes once in a while and against weaker team, we need to take the opportunity to celebrate. Because that will help us to refresh and re-energize ourselves.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

L) But definitely we need to be realistic about re-setting our goals. Un-achievable high goals will do more damage than good.

M) And finally to us, the fans: We all knew that supporting a team like BD will not be a easy ride. Therefore don’t complain too much, just enjoy the bumpy ride as long as it lasts.

Cheers !!!!!

Fazal,

Thats an amazing post!! ...
Fun to read.
However one thing though, fans will always complain.

Frankly, I have a history of supporting the losing side. I complain and then come back to support the team again.

There is a cool commercial running on TV here, Phil Jackson saying , "Never give up on your team!".

i recommend Fazal's analysis to be included in a school text book to study as an elective subject except above visual 'stretching' effort. that might be x rated for the kids.
