The tops are rarely that good IMO.

We have problems with quality of designers recruited , manufacturers using inferior quality materials to make and extra buck and a major issue is quality control of the people who approve such rags!

I am pretty sure Bangladesh have designers who can do much better than this eyesore. Unfortunately, they don't bribe Papon enough ....

They could have literally added red on the pants and would have solved the problem. I don't really understand these people. I see so many awesome freelance designers, yet they manage to find the ugliest designs from who knows where.

Its all about contacts in Bangladesh sadly. Surely went to some MPs so and so or someone who made him “happy”

They're changing to a new design. I would like BCB to go retro on the next Cricket World Cup.

Are you kidding me? The green jersey was awesome and minimalistic. That is the trend world wide. Honestly for the first time the jersey didn't look khet, it looked like something that might have been designed by Puma/ Nike. But we can't have good things.

But no, thanks to the public we are getting a khet jersey again this world cup.

Yeah..absolutely. Not just that we are too imotional but overly nationalistic too, for this we have taken far too many poor decisions in the (long) past.. This is not a minor issue. For being imotional fools we couldn't have good things in the past, can't have good things in present and will likely not too in the future if this characteristics don't change.

If true, the right decision has been made. Could have gone with just red collar, or red sides as well. But red strip down the middle is not bad either. Must uphold brand colors, or change it for good. And I don't think they had plans of continuing green and white for the future.

What a let down. Really liked the first one. Not sure where it says jersey must be a resemblance of national flag. Bangalir kheye deye r kham naito. Ajaira jinish niya matamati kore

The red in the middle looks uglier than the original design. If red needed to be added, could have dont it on the side or make the collars red. This new design looks UGLY AF!

Why can't we expect the jersey to both be elegant and be a mix of green and red? Last thing i want to see is any resemblance with a pakistan jersey. I don't think it is too much of an ask honestly.

Because the revised version was done hastily in a very ad hoc way.

Wow!! I was thinking you would say, "they don't have Abahani connection." That was a close one.

Not sure how much to trust this cricinfo poll, but ironically, the 2019 WC jersey version 1 has been voted as the most favorite jersey!

Some funny comments on jersey saga

Quote:

If you look at the pictures, up to 2003 or so, players used to wear big sized jerseys with huge sleeves. Now they wear body fit jersey.

Wow SL jersey - just wow.

How did we get it so wrong? Official picture followed by a redesign - what a shamble!

Does anyone know where to order it from?

Our people don't know what good style is, stuck in 90s

Green needed to be darker though
