Default Match thread : India v Australia, 5th ODI, Oct 11, 2007

India lose two wickets in the first over - Ganguly run out yet again, and Dravid lbw first ball. Snicko indicates an inside edge.

sachin should have said NO....he is once again shown his selfish attitude...he should have given up his wicket....now he's gonna score 50 off 100 balls. Dravid is totally out of form, bring in Sehwag instead of him or Badrinath, the tamil nadu player

Thumbs up Reality Check

There is a general tendency amongst many subcontinent cricket fans, Sri Lankan fans being the notable exception, to dive headfirst into delusions of grandeur after a victory or two against a good side, notable or not. Such complex-laden, puerile behavior only sets them up for bitter disappointments proportionate to the delusion and all the bravado that goes with the BS.

Stuff like that is almost expected from a young cricket culture such as that of Bangladesh, but from our immemsely more experienced Indo-Pak regional neighbors? Shameful indeed.

India 43-5 after 10 ... ... ... ... ... ...

THIS one of the many reasons why I support Sri Lanka, West Indies and the OZ after the verde y rojo !

huh, I see a lot of frustration here

Lets see, Sachin is still there. Pathan has shown some promise as a batsman. India might well reach 150.

This is Aussie bashing at its best. Pity Sreesanth wasn't there to have his skulls cracked open by Lee.

139-9 after 37.4 ... Zaheer and RP are delaying the inevitable admirably ... but I hear something ... Oh my ! It’s “Waltzing Matilda”, and look who’s singing: -

Record stand for India against Australia for the last wicket.

It is just a waste of time. India will end up with something around 160 and the match will go on for another three hours though we all know the result.

I guess there's still a NOTABLE difference between the T20 WC winners and the REAL World Champions ...
