I am sure his musical talent far exceeds mine. I can discern some very intricate stuff going on in there. And great use of lyrics and vocal tones. But I have been subjected to listen to his songs nonstop in the recent months. When all is said and done, these are very light "feel-good" songs. Opiates. Sedatives. Too cloyingly romantic.

its true when u listen to a song nonstop its gets irritating and annoying. ya i guess his songs are romantic. and that what mostly sells in Bd rite? so he is obviously gonna record something that sells. but there is other stuff which is different and is not about love and all and is getting popular. speaking of love songs and something different in Bengali music heres something that u may find interesting. listen to the song called Sylhety here.please tell me wat u think about that.

if u dont mind y were u listening to his songs non stop in recent months.

Well I think in this day and age, one doesn't have a choice on these matters. How is it that I know every corny sappy 80s Hindy song? Cuz I liked listening to them? No. It was because whether it be the mudir dokan across the house, the wedding party I was attending, or the shopping plaza during Eid - they ALL blared out those tripe. I would suspect that Arnab has been subjected to his namesake's romantic croonings more on an involuntary basis than anything else. Either that or his s/o is really into it

I think you missed the part where I said I was and am being subjected to listening to his songs. It's one of the new hot things in town, and I don't have hands in these.

Just like I was subjected to listening to "Bheegee Bheegee" by James, the new Sylheti raps, some Hindi hit song called "Jhalak dikhlaja" etc etc.
