How do you colonize when you got no people in other planets?
And how are you supposed to live up there?
Too much physics in this guy's head.

heheeh...you telling him to watch cricket
Anyway, when I read the book 'A brief History of Time' I understood how seriously he thinks about time and space. The book was a bit difficult to understand but was really an interesting one.

hehe hehe. can u guys imagine what would ppl call alexander graham bell 150-200 years ago if he talked about the telephone. how ppl would communicate with each other without being anywhere near them. i agree that he is ahead of time. but dont be surprised to see something similar but not to the extent he is talking about happening in recent history. we should never forget, we are mankind. we created the most advance technologies so this thing just a matter of time.
anyway do any of you know who the smartest man on the face of planet earth is and was?

Bancan, good point but I think it's because we are not prepared to accept that even if what Hawking says is possible, we'll be dead in 100 years, just like people were when telephone or tv wasn't invented.

Iraq and Afganistan war same in the sense that one specific country invaded an independent nation from self interest. After all these bloody genocides it's not difficult to understand that both war were intended to gain control the natural resources of these countries, to establish political control in the respective regions. On the other hand muslims are suffering eveyday.
You might think Afganistan war was right, then I would say why not invading Israel, Myanmar and some other countries to rescue them from the chaos? Both wars were done intentionally by the Bush administration and his allies.
