Krejza on 99 with 2 balls remaining...a guaranteed century...but instead this happened:
Quote:
39.6.Kumar to Krejza : [great fielding] Twirled widdershins in the propinquity of off-stump. Krejza perambulates forth and bludgeons the crimson sphere with wanton, bestial vigour. Roy affects a makeshift barrier and necessitates the abnegation of run accumulation. This dictionary is delicious.
39.5.Kumar to Krejza : Floated on middle and leg, Krejza sweeps and meets the ball low on the pad. They all appeal and the umpire says No. That would have missed leg but it was close.
|
Had to walk back to the pavilion unbeaten on 99*
Tough luck

Thai food beating Sporting Bengal has put Halogens in absolute relegation zone.
My NRR is -1
Thai food's -0.7
I gotta beat intoxicated XI handsomely next week in order to have a chance of missin gn relegation.
Thai food will play the team I played today, Rangers XI. A strong team.
Hoping for a fight.

While Halogens will be fighting to avoid relegation in One Day league, Sporting Bengal will fight for survival in the T20 League - a near guaranteed relegation.
Both sets of fans might be really upset next week.

Avoiding relegation for Halogens is out of the question. We are surely getting the boot of the league. Relegated for sure, for sure.
But, a good chance for the team to recuperate next season. Have a good composition going for us at the moment.

Well at least my T20 team didn't get bowled out for less than 50. That was a tough match, the undefeated Ultimate Spartans, with players who are rated in the 60K to 70Ks...hard work it was for Halogens, but I am happy that my bowlers didn't go for more.
Escaped relegation. Hopefully next season, the boys can muster up a good party...

And, my bowler, Mark Flynn topped the list of wicket-takers. Good signs, he is in prime, so I am looking forward to him to dominate in the next few seasons.

COme on ! You guy's can do it! Take them intoxicated boys down!
Both the league leaders on 48 points...Sporting playing one of them..
If Rangerz beats Thai and somehow I lose by a small margin, they can win the league..
So expecting Rangerz to trash thai.. you just gotta beat Intoxicated XI handsomely

^^I do hope that they are 'intoxicated' to beat them. Good thing is that they are leading the league from the bottom...

Unfortunately Nolan has a match tomorrow.
Otherwise would have sent him to hang around with the Intoxicated boys, to make sure they are fully drunk.

^^Their best batsman this season is a guy called Anthony Martial 26 Years old and rated in the low 60K. He only made a century and a half century, 372 runs from 9 matches. Hope he doesn't save the best for last.
Two of his bowlers have NBA players' names....Kyrie Irving and Kristaps Porzingis

Qualified for the Pavillion Cup. Hopefully can win the match.
Bought a new pacer, 21 year old John Sarovich. Stanley Lee a spinner who can bowl Doosra also purchased.
Sold Boyce, hasn't been impressive - poor numbers overall throughout the season.

I hope relegation be a blessing in disguise for my senior team...I will have to let 32 year old Bonnor go.
HVD will also go, most likely he will be up for sale in the market.
This season is all about rebuilding.
My youth team is fairly strong. Suwandaratne gotta dominate this season.

Sporting Bengal playing against Benoni XI in the first round of Pavillion Cup.
Very tough opposition, going to be hard to move past round one.
Match starts in 50 min, hopefully boys can put in a good fighting performance, irrespective of result.

^Would you bat or bowl first on a dry pitch with the weather being cloudy?
Going to be tough..they have some serious players.
I have asked my captain to bat first, if he wins the toss (not sure though)

Not too strong - but Mahlangu still there, so is Picker, Matheson...
Put Fadil Mahmoud on defensive mode.. 3/4 batsman on form..
So if everything clicks.. who knows..
Stanley Lee making his debut, 20 year old kid, bowls the doosra.. but undercooked.
