Future Series
So we have a gap between January and the Asia Cup in March. According to the FTP we play 5 ODIs at home against SL in march. Conceivable that would be right before/after the Asia Cup.
Is there any confirmation of this? Are we scheduling any Tests with SL?
Also, the board should look into organizing a 3 Test series with Zimbabwe. Our players missed almost the entire NCL, we need more first class matches. Also a series with ZIM would be the ideal place to debut guys like Asif, Anamul, and Dhiman.

Typically the confident youngster isn't happy to stop there. Now he's targeting a spot on the England Lions tour of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka early next year and hopes his raw pace – he bowls regularly in excess of 90 mph – will catch the eye.

Batsman, spin bowlers and wicketkeepers will attend a training camp in Pune and Mumbai ahead of selection for the England Lions tours of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in 2012. Parsons believes the trip will provide vital experience for England's rising stars.

There are more news on that tour but fixture and squad for lions yet to be named.

Why not sending the A team to tour to Ireland, Zimbabwe or NZ?

im pretty sure Ireland or some other team like that will agree to play us if we ask. Also it could be a good series for our boys to get back in form.
