Making run seems like an easy play.
Boundary in almost every over.

Well it's been a good partnership between Fletcher and Hope, to be fair to the bang bowlers these two aren't exactly rookies, Fletcher already has an A-team ton against India under his belt, has played for the WI senior team in the one day and t20s and is usually one of the best scorers in our four day competition, his problem has often been when he's stepped up to the top level he's flattered to deceive, perhaps this stint at the academy has helped him!!!..
Hope is one who's been in and out of the Barbados team but when he's hot he's hot, many compare him to Marlon Samuels with the stylish way that he bats, needs to convert his good starts more often though.
I think the pitch is probably good for batting right now but it will be interesting to see if it turns on the third and fourth day.

Dollar apparently was the highest wicket taker though I'm not sure how since we always have an SLA bag the most wickets and a pacer by the name of Al Amin Hossain snagged 30+ at an average of 15 apiece. Doesn't have much pace on him but does swing it. Apart from destroying Zimbabwe in Bulawayo once, his int'l record is piss poor.
Kamrul Islam Rabbi is sposed to be a quickie - which in Bangladesh means bowling around the 140 kph mark. He's largely unknown although Ian Pont rated him highly.
Others I don't know about. The batsman everyone knows. Mominul had a 100 in the A team series in WI last season (along with Nasir), and Anamul was the U-19 WC's leading scorer, averaging just over 60. He's also hit 169 against a RSA Academy side which included Merchant de Lange a couple years ago. Sarkar is a binge scorer - can smash any attack for big runs one innings and little else the next 5 or 6.

Most of them are very young players. Playing domestic cricket for 3-4 years. Some of them have some reputation. All are emerging in domestic level.

Game over already! 348-3/74...there is no way we can win this. Playing 2 SLA and bowler like Mukter and Dollar costing us the game. Missing Al Amin, Abu Jayed (Both were phenomenal in ncl 4 dayers) and Noor badly way to go selectors

Cheers for the info Al Furgarqaan and M.H.Rubel , well it certainly looks like it's been a good day for our lads, not surprised Hope got a ton aswell because as i said he can be a class apart on his day, anyway another question if i may...is this pitch usually a batter paradise? it's tough to fully judge these batters otherwise!!.

WIHPT seems to be piling runs with ease.
We need couple of quick wickets by the end of the day to have something to look forward tomorrow.

I'm not so sure about the XI - it's a 4 day match and we have got only 4 specialist batters (including Anamul as the keeper), 3 allrounders and 4 bowlers! With this big WI HP squad first innings, if our top order doesn't score big, I can sense trouble!!

Can we take 2 more by the end of the day's play ??
Max 4 overs left.

Runs showered like full monsoon style. Scorecard suggests a typical West Indian aggressive batting display have took place.

Top order definitely needs to make some runs or there will be no chance.

Even though the WIHPT piled up lot of runs, our boys should just stay in the crease and try to play as long as they can. That should be the plan.

We are not very good at that. And some how the pitch will become bowler friendly once we start batting. Still 3 days to go and there's a chance to bounce back.
