Match ups: Round of 16 - Matches 1 to 4 (my reviews)
1. Brazil vs Chile - No need of preview. We know the cup is already ours. Naymer scores again. 2. Colombia vs Uruguay - Colombia back drops Uruguay. Too strong in all phases. 3. France vs Nigeria - I so wish Nigeria to move on. Yet with the money issue going on at the Nigerian camp... I don't think they they would be able to beat France. All of a sudden France looks like a contender. 4. Germany vs Algeria - Do not take Algeria lightly. They have scored 6 goals in the WC matches. Germans 7 (better competition). Should be a interesting match.

Chile are a very strong and spirited side led by the quality of Sanchez but Brazil have simply too much quality everywhere. The fact that they're the host nation and have handled the pressure with remarkable temperament so far, just adds to their invincibility in this year's tournament.
Colombia under the curiously named Peckerman have played wonderfully positive and direct soccer. Riyad no dance no Cumbia or read no Marquez no more. James Rodriguez is a genuine phenom leading the second most attractive attack in the tournament. Uruguay lack the bite to beat them, pun intended.

The French are back with their wonderful flair and I don't think Nigeria have what it takes to contain the likes of Benzema, Giroud and Pogba. The French defense on the other hand is good enough to contain Odemwingie, Emenike and Musa if they play as the cohesive unit they are.
The Algerians are a strong side with no less than 9 Magrebi gangstahz born in France. They all graduated from the school of hard knocks in the tough neighborhoods of inner city Marseille and Lyon. Unlike Zidane in the past and Benzema now, they've chosen to represent the old country at the senior level and are incredibly spirited. If they make some positive tactical adjustments and execute well, the Germans will be forced to remember 1982, and have a hard time. But show Germany too much respect and hold back while allowing their forwards space, you'll be toast from regular as well as set plays. Germany with their non ethnic German players are an incredible side and fun to watch.

1. Quarterfinals: Brazil-Colombia; France-Germany. 2. Semifinal: Brazil-France. 3. Final: Brazil.
