Which school was this, Malvern? What do you do in Toronto now? Are you at U of T by any chance? Try out for the intramurals... I played as a Winger for Vic-Meds from 2003-2006. Its loads of fun. But then we play Rugby Union rules and usually with contested scrums. The U of T scarborough campus was hardest to beat. THey had this 350lb monster as lock who'd just bulldoze our forwards. But it was great fun whooping the other colleges. Proud to say I broke my arm playing Engineering team back in 2004. Its a real rush to play it in the freezing October rain!
* I just used my mod powers and found out you're in engineering (or maybe just comp sci) at U of T. You should try out for the Skule teams, they always have a 'B' team that play the intramurals so even if you're new to the game you can practice with them and play there. Heck you're even allowed to play for the other colleges! I'd really encourage you to give it a go this fall. ...and yeah, broke my arm to the Skule 'A' team.
