Alok is certainly not a 2nd down guy. He has bowling experience (over 130 wickets in Test, ODI, FirstClass and Test). why not let him bowl few overs? Give others a rest.

To let a spinner bowl 10/12 overs is ok but a quick bowler I am not sure. unless they are extra fit and the only weapon and the captain have no other choice which is not the case.
