Bangladesh vs Pakistan. Bangladesh's most enthralling contest?
Honestly speaking, with emotions running high and a long history between these two countries the matches are always exciting. But Bangladesh didn't have any thing to write about before 2015 when it lost consecutively to Pakistan in all formats, in 2015 a hungry Tamim changed the tide around to prove a point and going into this match Bangladesh can almost be seen as having the same chance as Pakistan, which is a testament again to our continual development as a cricketing nation.
I still remember how the whole team came down in tears for losing the finals against Pakistan in 2012, granted it was also the disappointment of losing the first major ICC trophy. Pakistan and Bangladesh maybe one of the most exciting matches to look forward to in years to come, specially when these two teams become almost leveled in terms of skills and experience. When Bangladesh faces Pakistan there is a different ambience in the match, India too for that matter but Pakistan is truly a different feeling for the fan. Is it the most exciting cricket match a Bangladeshi team can play and win or the most disappointing to lose?

Nice write up, only thing is that 2012 was ACC tournament, not ICC one.

One thing i saw about Pakistanis is that they hate to lose against BD, simply hate it. I wish BD players and fans grow the same mentality than it'll be a fierce contest, but amra to abar afridi ke dekhle marry me hoye jai

He did that in WC 15 already. Amazing improvement as a player. That backfoot six over mid off was just wow.

As for the OP..not sure, I expected BD to win, and I was surprised it became so close at one point before Mash came out

Thanks for that, as you can see, it has been updated
What a bowler this guy is, absolute treat and the whole world is seeing what we have been seeing for so long, a bowler that is continuously being highly rated in all events that Bangladesh take part in and everyone credits bowlers like Taskin transforming the Bangladesh team with sheer pace and determination. He is peaking and pushing new boundaries and is all set to thunder past the 150 barrier at just 20 years of age. Can he break it?
And a match winner by his own right, he has been in the centre of our cricketing revolution. MashAllah, proud proud moment because what I saw in 2013 from a blurry shaky youtube video was a bowler that will take bangladesh to new heights, and he has. Amazing amazing moment personally for me too.

Sure, this rivalry will get bigger now on. And the BD against IND.And it should. Rivalry is healthy for the game. Cricket needs more rivalries, subcontinent has more teams so there's more rivalries in this part of the world.

I think very soon Bangladesh vs India will surpass India-Pakistan and Pakistan-Bangladesh.

No change. We are still 10th. Now if we can somehow win the finals we will be #9.

I also think Ind-Pak is lame now as Pak are no where near India.
Ind vs Srl is annoying to everyone already.
But Ind vs BD should be the new exciting contest in world cricket.

I seriously have no idea how these rankings work? We beat Pakistan three times (including twice last year) in T20, they were around rank #6 at that time. We've beaten Srilanka who are now #6. Still not much improvement in our T20 ranking??!! How come Afghanistan is still ahead of us?! Was our ranking point too poor to begin with or Afghansitans play much T20's than us?

If we win against India we gain 4 points and jump right to the 9th position.
