Exclamation Bamboo culture

Look at the stadium. What a beautiful Mirpur stadium they made. But why we can not get out of this bamboo culture. Why don't we invest little bit more money at the first place to make cement shade, or don't even bother using any shade. I think they can not think anything without bamboo. Without bamboo we are vanish! 60 crores they spent to build the stadium and they still need this kind of TERPAL!!!

The stadium is not complete yet. Only 40% work has been done and it already look fabulous. I can't wait for the stadium to be completely developed.

Bamboo is better for temporary solution, as it is all natural.

*Its environmentally friendly. *Foreign dorshoks think its artsy. *It reminds batsman to be careful and not give their wicket away. *They can sell more sits because people can hang from bamboos. *If the hortalkaris attack the stadium with boitha/logi, the dorshoks can use the bamboos.

You are wrong my friend- besides bamboo we have oil culture. The oil can be applied on those bamboos and that will make those people slide down gently. It will also make the shade shine.
As someone suggested bamboo is a natural resource that we have, just like oil; naturally bamboo and oil don’t co-exist, but sometimes they can be applied together to get maximum output.

I am not sure whether you ever watched a game inside that bamboo tent? if not then beleive me when i said to get a little bit of shade what we did u can think off. cause when there thousands of people in hot summer/winter day it gets pretty hot pretty soon. and it feels haven and hell under the the bambo tent and with out it. its most inexpensive part of the stadium and i don't care how it looks for a milli second in the tv i vote for this to continue

Man screw the bamboo and the artistic views. What about the safety of the people who are sitting on top of the shades. I'm more worried about their safety because if the bamboo collapses they'll pretty much die. Looks like a few of the spectators wanted to watch a game free. But risking their lives for this game is not worth it man.

BTW, hopefully the bamboo is a temporary thing because more than the looks it's the safety that I'm worried about as they can collapse anytime.

tell me about it...we are such a screwed up nation - don't even know what represents us best. for example, our national bird should be kaak, not doyel. our national animal should be goru, not RBT.

These people are up there with or without a ticket...that doesn't make any difference. As far as I'm concerned, they're up there because they utilized their limbs to climb up there. BCB didn't make them sit up there...as they won't intimidate the players by reminding them of the bamboo after match.

This will help, if at all, in keeping the shamiyana from not floating too much. And hey, BCB could use this as an innovative idea for kids to jump on it. More revenues -> more equipments -> pants for Ashraful -> tummy for Bashar.

I don't mind the bamboo culture...it's jatiyo oitijho. If at all, the monkeys should be brought down, and a section for monkeys should be opened on one side of the stadium.

Asif bhai, I agree about kaak. But national animal should be rastar kutta.

Yes Bamboo could be any thing!!

reposting here from my old post.

Bamboo is one kind of grass!! Botanical name is “Bambusa lumeana Schltes”,

Bamboo has great role in the human daily life…

In Mathematics, --“ In a oily 11 feet Bamboo monkey jumps 3.215 feet, down 2.756 feet, after how many jumps….

In literature-- “ Basher chaite Conchi baro” (Branch bigger than main), example is Israel.

In Poem --“Bash Baganer mather upor Chad uthache oi “ (Moon sited over the bamboo garden). It’s indicated that Bamboo garden usually situated at western side of the house, which did not interrupt the early Sunlight to enter in the house.

In action --“ Na Rahega Bash, Na Bazega Bashi” (No bamboo no flute, no head no headache), Exp is Rafique packs up by Latif in ZIM.

Self transportation, Bunch of bamboo float in the river carrying people, goods and after reaching in the station those are being ready to sale. No extra transportation required. Perhaps Old ships got this character from bamboo, old ship float and reach to ship breaking yard by herself.

Law enforcement tools– well known and frequently used Lathi (Stick), main source is bamboo
And much more….

The fastest growing plant on this planet
A critical element in the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
A viable replacement for wood
An enduring natural resource
Versatile with a short growth cycle
A critical element of the economy
An essential structural material in earthquake architecture
A renewable resource for agroforestry production.
A natural controllable barrier
An ancient medicine
Integrally involved in culture and the arts

Bamboo is great without any dispute...

Well.. incase someone missed it... This image of Mirpur stadium can give an idea of the final look of it with contemporary-look sheds. But I guess we have to wait some time to reach that look untill it is finished.

Yeah its temporary..You'll see better dressing rooms when India is here.. whatever we give to Zimbos they take it..India will have their own voice.
Let the stadium be 100% completed..It'll be awesome!
