Hoping that we get to the Semis atleast.

Such a shame that we never made it to the top despite the promise shown by our players.

Batting has always been our Achilles´heel, especially, at U19 tourneys. I don´t see that changing soon as we hardly have any batters who can consistently hit 70s or 80s. Although Mosaddek has got off to a fabulous List A start but his U19 record is patchy at best. Nazmul and Jasimuddin have shown glimpses of their ability on occasions but far from being able to be dubbed as reliable bats. I simply don´t think we have the specialist and reliable bats needed for such a tourney. India, Pakistan and others have specialist bats capable of consistently hitting 80s or 90s and helping their side posting -more often than not- 260 plus on the board. The old adage, "cricket is a batsman´s game".

Time will tell. All the best to the cubs.

The UAE venue might help our player. nor mally flat track, slow and low, and spinners gets advantage. this conditions should help both our batter and bowlers.
