Who will lead as vice-captain if Mushfiq injures since Mahmudullah Riayd is out of the ODI series?

Congratulation Bangladesh National Cricket team for wining the only T20 against WI. Congratulation Mushfiqur Rahim for doing the job for the team.
Now let us all look at the future, I mean the first ODI in 13th October. As the lads has given us the oppurtunity to dream bigger, we (all the BD fans) can expect something more, like wining the frist ODI and thinking of a ODI series win. On the other hand, WI team will be more carefull and aggressive to win the ODI's now.
So good luck for bangladesh.

I will not choice any team for the 1st ODI, only hoping that whoever play in the best XI will not try to give away wicket's playing foolishly while batting and while bowling stick to the basics and try to bowl stump to stump as much as possible.

I am just wondering if alok doesnt live upto expectation who should replace him. The only contender is see is naeem who is horrible at low down and who is already a replacement for Riyad this series. In that case I am guessing they will bring in Hom at 4 and send mushfiq at either 5 or 6. I just don't like the shuffling in the order so much even for the ones who made their places permanent ie Shakib,Mushfiq Riyad.
I would send Nayeem in no 3 position followed by Ash.

Nayeem is innings builder, not someone who can hit from the first ball.

Should we have to change the batting order as we played for T20 ?? We might need a innings builder at #6 if our top and middle order collapsed.

ODI and T20 are not the same. So batting order must change.

Key Batsmen
Tamim
Imrul
Shakib
Mushfiq
Nasir

Key Bowlers
Rubel
Shakib
Naeem
Razzak

At least 3 of the key batsmen have to perform and 3 of the key bowlers have to perform to win the match. It might look a bit surprising to include Nasir in the list of key players. He is the only solution for lower order fireworks to me so far. He has done pretty much well in that position. We should count on him.

If any of the batsmen like Tamim/Imrul/Shakib/Nasir/Mushy takes a stand. Tries to rotate the strike and stays till the end, there's a high chance of a good score and for the bowlers Shakib/Razzak/Naeem/Shafiul/Rubel and Nasir ( we can always test a little variation as the 6th bowler) have to bowl with a good line length.

We are a much better team than the Windies, but everything's up with the mind-set of the cricketers. I don't understand why do they get so worked up

My team for tomorrows match.

Tamim: Automatic Choice

Imrul: Automatic Choice

Naeem: He is an innings builder. Need someone like that at #3 who can build the innings and accelerate later on. Very handy off spinner as well.

Ash: Gambling. Can be tried as a partnership breaker bowler.

Mushfiq: Most reliable batsman in the team right now.

Shakib: Hope he gets his form back. Best spinner in the team.

Kapali: 1 T20 innings proves nothing. Needs to give more chances. Can be given few overs with the ball.

Nasir: Best solution for lower middle order.

Razzak: He has lot of offer in the ODIs.

Rubel: Best pacer in the country right now.

Shafiul: Looks to have his rhythm back.

I was really impressed with Shafiul's bowling yesterday. Yes, he gave lots of wides, but look how he turned the game upside down in the last over....WI could have done 155 easily if he didn't get 2 wickets in the last over. Looks to me he is getting the rhythm back. Just hope the new bowling coach help Rubel and him so that become the pacing guns for BD in the long run

Cause Nayeem is a waste at lower middle order.

He played throughout his career in top order. Sadly our NAT team management forced him to bat at lower order. His practice match runs also came batting up the order.
