I would've preferred Shafiul instead of Al-Amin. Still its a pretty good squad, so the selectors do deserve some praise.

Nasir and Sabbir must definitely be in no.6 and 7 for starting 11. Will be a perfect lower middle order set-up. Ideally, if SS could be fit in, would be tremendous. We would then have the option 4 seamers.
This XI could be an tried out:
Tamim
Anamul
SS
Riyad
Shakib
Mushfiq
Nasir
Sabbir
Mash
Taskin
Al Amin
We got 4 genuine bowlers (Mash, Al Amin, Taskin, Shakib). And look at the useful part-timer options we've got (Riyad, Nasir), 1 leggie (Sabbir), and 1 pacer all rounder (Soumya). On any day, we can at least bank on one of them to come good with his part-time bowling. And the batting looks very strong!

Strong XI, Still think 3 pacers isn't best option for us though..unless its a super green track.

Another thing to be noted is that this has to be the best fielding squad that we've ever picked, not a single weak link in the fielding department and that is really a great thing to have especially in fast grounds like Australia.

Al Amin is the weakest fielder in the team. Shabbir, Nasir, Bijoy, Shakib have the capability to save 20-30 runs easily so Yh agree with you

Pace bowlers usually don't count while considering the strength of a fielding side but still Mash, Rubel and Taskin are all good fielders; agree with you on Al-Amin but even then he's miles ahead of someone like Razzak.

I am just scared for Taskin. Not for his injury, but after ICC's recent crackdown on slightest of chucking, hope Taskin is not reported for chucking. To the naked eye, just seems he might be slightly bending, but hopefully no one reports him during him world cup.

I did not get any valid reason behind selecting Mominul. Neither he was doing good at DPL nor he has a good ODI record. Probably test record helped him to grab the position. But need to remember that he is poor in ODI. He is not a good top order. Now the top order looking inexperienced and vulnerable. To me Imrul was better option. At least he is a genuine top order and he has some experience. I hope Mominul will prove me wrong.

I would like to see the final 11 like this and same order:
1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Soumya Sarker (Also as 3rd Seam bowling option)
3. Mushfiqur Rahim (wk)
4. Mahmudullah Riyad
5. Shakib Al Hasan
6. Nasir Hossain
7. Sabbir Rahman
8. Mashrafe Mortaza (c)
9. Taijul Islam
10. Arafat Sunny
11. Taskin Ahmed
We have to remember that spin is our main strength. We should play our spin trio (Shakib, Taijul and Arafat) in all our matches. I believe all these three spinners are good enough to take advantage of any wicket and in any conditions. Moreover, if one fails the other two will have the chances to compensate.
But same is not true for our Seam bowlers. Whether it is green top or slow and low, I don't see our fast bowlers would dominate ever in the wicket column. Soumya, would open with Tamim and offer few overs as 3rd seam bowler if situation demands. I he fails as a bowler we still get him as an extra batsman. Nasir can chip in with one or two fill gap overs. Then, there is Riyad with his offie and Sabbir with his leggie.

Considering the situation selectors have done decent job. Though not happy with Mominul. Other than Mominul all are in good form. Its a good ODI team. Now hoping some aggression from the team and some carishma from Haturu Singh.

Must admit. Didn't expect Sunny or Soumya to be in squad. Shafiul and Kayes would have been my choice.

I would have included Nayeem instead of Mominul even though Mominul is a brilliant cricket, he is not an ODI player.
