India, upper hand. Aus, underdogs, even at home. With the trio, plus Sehwag, Aus young bowling attack will be under pressure. Indian bowling attack is also weak, but they don't have to face anyone dangerous in the Aus lineup.

Seeing how these Ind oldies are going, Aus should kick themselves in the nut for mistreating their greats.

Right..with aus down and out and 3 Indian Greats in good form it'll be a shame if they let this series slip..this is their last tour of Aus and they will want to win it

This is probably india's last chance to win a series in Down Under too..With the legends retiring and Aus's resurrection its gona be tough in later years

not sure about the bowling attack of either side. might just become a run fest unless the pitches are made like the one in the last test with NZ... If the conditions assist swing bowling Zaheer could definitely become a handful. Too bad Cummins is injured... would have loved to see him have a go at Tendulkar.
The battle between Steyn and Tendulkar in one of the tests between SA and India will be etched in my memory for a long time... no such rivalries in this series though since both team's bowlers will be fairly new.

Whitewash coming up imo. Aus really looks poor.

Go India!

Pattinson v Tendulkar is being hyped up. He is a similar bowler to Steyn (bowls outswingers at good pace) but probably not as intelligent. But apparently Tendulkar has brought along his own personal throwdown boy to emulate Pattinson's bowling. I guess that tells us how Sachin rates the pacers of his own team

I'd be very surprised if India were able to whitewash us on our home turf. There's no doubting the class of their batting but their bowling looks like that of an Aussie grade club. I won't pretend to have a crystal ball to predict the results but I don't see us being crushed. If I had to make a guess I would suggest Aus winning the series narrowly. Much has been made of the desire of the 'Big Three' to win the first ever series down here, but one shouldn't discount the other side of the coin. No Australian player wants to hand the Indians their first ever series win Down Under and they will gain great motivation from this, as much as the soon to retire Indian batting greats. The Boxing day test at the MCG is the biggest day in our Cricket calendar and will draw huge crowds both at the ground and on TV. It promises to be a riveting clash. Viva Test Cricket I say, and may the best team come out victorious.

Already bought the ticket of T20 match between India Vs Australia. Planning to go for one day of Sydney Test match, not sure though. All my Indian mates are already pumped up, could not be any better summer in OZ

There is a mistake in this fixture.

The match between Australia and India on 26th Feb is at SCG, not Hobert. The match between India and Srilanka on 28th Feb is not at SCG rather at Hobert.

This series should come down to the wire. Last time India toured Australia, it was pretty tight and that was a better Australian team. Expect to see India's batting doing a lot better then the England tour. Their much more ready this time around.

Compparing these 2 teams. India's batting is definitely stronger. A lineup of Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Kohli and Dhoni definitely looks much better on paper compared to Warner, Cowan, Marsh, Ponting, Clark, Hussey, and Haddin.

On the other hand, India's bowling just doesn't seem strong enough. Ishant and Zaheer could pose problems but it'll really depend on their health. Yadav and Aaron are good up and coming pacers but they're very inexperienced. Ashwin could really pose problems for the Aussies. I would pick Australia's bowling over Indias however. Siddle and Hilfenhaus are really good bowlers on Aussie conditions. Then you got Pattinson who is a young star in the making. Don't see Lyon making much of a difference.

Hopefully we see some good cricket in this series. Best of luck to both teams.
