Yes, we were there, as cadets.
I think it was held early 1994, around Jan/Feb time. It was lots of fun, as we just becoming 10th grade senior mastans...

50th anniversary is scheduled next weekend (29th).

iv) Why do you think we are not producing leg spinners?
v) Name an upcoming electronic device/gadget that excites you
vi) How can iDumb raise funds to buy a bigger tv?
1. They are ok, but I haven't seen any real innovation from apple since may be 3gs! Retina display, may be. PC vs Mac battle of 90s is being fought again, now its Android vs iOS. Tim Cook isn't gonna find it easy, its a tough job (to replicate Jobs).

2. Yes, and already got Xbox One. I have alternated with Xbox to PS3 and now back to Xbox One.

3. I think Ryad is quite dependable in that position. His avg. batting and avg. bowling is quite useful. I don't think we have replacement at that position; not until we have a matching winning pacer.

4. Probably not as attractive as an SLA. Leg spin requires lot of discipline and patience. It doesn't pay off as quickly as may be other spinning options; and in most cases you can be quite expensive if you haven't matured enough. So, my guess is basic economics at action for lack of leg spinners.

5. Well, this year haven't seen mucn exciting stuff. Xbox One seems to be have cool factor with the upgraded Kinect (can even measure heart beat!) . I am waiting for full gesture control (not touch) in future devices tv, pc, everything

Leap Motion seems promising:

6. Sell his sound system and speaker; and wait in line on Black Friday

My questions to Kalpurush Bhai:
i) If you had only one ticket that you could use to watch either Lara or Tendulkar play, which one would you go to see?
ii) What do you think about England's Ashes chances this time?
iii) Besides being on BC what else is your favorite way to spend free time?
iv) Five movies and books you would bring with you if you were sent on a mission to a deserted Island
v) Favorite non-deshi food and destination

1) Chacha, right?

2) I don't have any cellphone except the work one (and I use the phone only while I am at office!), I never owned a cellphone for personal use, so no preferences here...

3) I was shocked for a while, the started dancing! I was living in Winnipeg, Manitoba at that time and Shawon, my then future wife, was in Dhaka - sent her a box of chocolates to celebrate! অনেক দিন বেশ আনন্দে কেটেছে, হবু বধুর বরহ বেদনা ভুলিয়ে...

4) Ashrafool is a cricket genius IMHO, if only he was honest and devoted and he could do well in any team...

5) We, the people (not all, but many), are as corrupt as our politicians. We sell our dignity for loyalty...unless we change ourselves (through education, social movement etc), the political situation might remain same...for a long while IMHO.

Kalpurush bhai,
You open very nice match threads, but your success rate (thread opening vs Bangladesh win) is not very encouraging.
Does it affect your decision to open match threads?

Well, I don't really open match thread just for the success rate, if so, then I would have open match thread for India or Australia!

I open match threads to share my joy with others and it is driven by passion and fun! It is an absolute joy for me to watch the tigers - of course it sadden me to see Tigers go down and it's part of the game, isn't it?

You do understand that there is no link between the two (match thread and actual results) right?

Yes and no. In reality, these are plain co-incidences. In fans' mind ( and some cricketers) - superstition rules.

I was just pulling the legs of Obayed bhai.

Ualikum Salam Roman

Here are your answers :>

1) Change the unconditional and blind political loyalty we possess towards specific political party

2.) Well, nothing wrong with exploiting one's talent if it is used towards a common benefit/goal. We are treating Dr. Yunus unfairly IMHO.

3)
SSC = Mohammadpur Govt. High School
HSC = Shaheen College
MCom = Finance, Dhaka University
MCom = Royal Roads University, BC, Canada

4)
> Final (from a fanboy perspective)
> Semi (Being a cricket fan)
