If haturi/Mash picks the team based on WU games then this should be the XI. I want both Nasir nd Shabbir in XI but I highly doubt they will drop Bijoy to pick both, at least for first couple of matches...

agree, but i think Vijay will be dropped after today's performance.

The team with the most singles usually wins the match. Does our team know about this fact? I doubt Anamul even heard of it before.

Shakib is probably the best we have when it comes to rotating strike. RR will go up quite fast now.

Hope he can play a long innings today.

Read my post again. The xi i put on is my XI too. Nasir hasnt performed well so he needs to do it today to kick Bijoy out.

Yea, it all comes down to Nasir now. If he can really contribute efficiently today, team management will have no option but to drop Anamul

Realistically, can't drop both haque's. So, my batting order would be -

Tamim
Soumya
Anam
Riyad
Shakib
Shabbir
Mushfiq
Mash
Taijul
Rubel
Taskin

Not convinced yet that Mushfiq can do well in Australia. If he fails again today, management should consider giving the gloves to Anam and to bring in Nasir at #7.

I hope Soumya makes a ton today. The lad didn't even have a decent outing so far. He should open with Tamim and IF Anamul is selected then he should play his U19 position; come at no 3.

And there is where the two seas meet. That's what I have been saying. In sha Allah Nasir will make himself worthy enough to be selected based on today's practice game. Both Nasir and Sabbir can be awesome for our team. Reminds me a lot of Yuvraj and Kaif in their early days...
