Musta will always remain a mediocre bowler. He lost his fizz years ago!

So who is BCB gonna blame now? Spent all that money to bring a technical consultant when the same results would have been achieved with Domingo who is laughing his *** off probably

No wonder our batters look so great in nets, our pacers suck!

BCB is already ahead of the game, gave Shakib power to call all the shots. Shakib, in turn, called back useless baggage like Mushfiq and Riyad, that Domingo were trying to get rid off.

Besides Shak, they also have the option to blame Siddons, who clearly has no clue how to prep his batters for T20I.

BCB is so corrupt that players like Anamul and Naim must be paying and lobbying to get selected. I cannot fathom how garbage players keep getting reselected

You sure Shakib called back Riyad? Wasn't there drama/rumours he's been trying to get rid of him

I think you're referring to WC 2019, when Shakib did ask Mash to bench Riyad, as Riyad was playing selfish as usual. When Mash refused, Shakib stopped talking during team meetings.

However, this time, if media rumors to be trusted, selectors suggested to drop Riyad, it was Shakib's call to retain him.

Naim was the T20 BD batsman of the year in 2019
Shafiul was the T20 BD bowler of the year in 2019.

What happened since then ?

Even playing with 9 batsmen these guys can only score 120 lmao. They should've played Nasum instead of Taskin/Saifuddin.

I just did not understand the decision to bat first. We did not have any solid openers. Might as well have gone with sloggers to open the batting.

It's pretty obvious now that we are worse than Scotland, Zim, and Afghanistan in T20. We are probably worse than them even in Tests.

Only in ODI I will probably give an edge to BD.

Anamul is no T20 player. Keep him in ODI if you want, but this is such a waste. Could have just used Miraz as a opener. I highly doubt he would have done any worst than our 2 useless openers. This would have given us a genuine bowler if he was included. Also, might aswell give sabbir a go since he is in the team. Get him to open. Or even better, get Saiffuddin to open and get one more bowler in. Whats the point of having 2 useless openers in the team.

So far, this is not a high scoring tournament. I would be ok letting Naim play anchor, like he has done in past. However, Bijoy has been absolutely pathetic. Sabbir may be worth a gamble in his place.

Maybe worth benching one of the pacers (Musta?) and giving Nasum a go as well in the next match.

What is the secret to Afghanistan's success in T20? I know they play a lot and got a lot of power hitters as well as fabulous spin, but look how far they have progressed yet comparatively we haven't in overall areana.
